There is nothing generic about this shop. Everything is customized. The only way to understand is for you to see the requirments required. If it were that simple, they wouldn't have the training. You don't just evaluate what you order. You are expected to evaluate "Everything."
CAscotch: I think that you could do the Chipotle's without the in-person training BUT you're getting paid to attend the training plus getting lunch which is worth about $20-30 so I think the question should be why would you NOT want to do the training?
Ardent does have more than one client, even here in Northern California. The reports are long and sometimes easy (Like this month!!!!) but the food is good.
CAscotch - if the training is far away from you it is very likely there are no Chipotle shops available in your area. If you pm me you location, I will check for you.
They have hired shoppers without giving them training in hard-to-recruit areas where there are not many of the client locations. I was an editor for Ardent and I still shop for them. Believe me, the training helps!

I saw posts from Ardent today for shops in my area, but I've got the same issue as CAScotch. They have a locations near home and work, and are listing my zip code in the Jobslinger ad, but the training that is listed is an hour away on a weekday morning and there is no way that I can take off from work for it. Do they ever have night or weekend training sessions?
Yes, the report is major, major overkill....the one used elsewhere for client Restaurant Associates would suffice for Chippolte in my opinion. Regardless, the msc is very good.
I've done two shops for Ardent and have decided not to do anymore. I hate their reports, the food tastes good but if you look at the nutrition charts on their web site the food is loaded with salt, and I get heartburn every time I eat there.

The other complaint I have is they pay a flat fee of $25 and no reimbursable. I don't think it's worth the time it takes to do the report.
