Nationwide Services Group

I did get several responses from Dan, and, after he emailed Nationwide, I got a response from them......thanking me for my patience......but no money. I have actually been patient because I've had a good relationship with the company since 2008. I hate it when a good company goes bad. I'm about to sta. Wwrt filing complaints. No more patience.

Even though it was a small amount, I emailed them twice daily, until I received payment. I would keep at it until you get paid. I would also deactivate my account. They are not worth the aggrevation and hassle.
I never worked for them as I never see anything in my area. Thanks to this group I never will even if they have jobs in my area.
Apparently they are not responding to the Better Business Bureau either and now have an "F" rating.

Based on all of this information, I deactivated my account with this MSC. Thanks to all of you.
I just came upon this forum and I'm sad to know that nothing has been done. I will email Dan Denston but it sounds like he hasn't gotten any results for anyone here that I've read about. I did file a report with the BBB on 2/8/2013 and all I got back from them is that NSG didn't respond to them either. The BBB can be of no further assistance and told me if I want to pursue this further I could contact the small claims court located in the city where the transaction occurred. NSG owes me $503.02. If anyone did file a small claim please let me know how you made out. TriciaB7777@aol.com
This company is done. All of their clients have moved on to other companies. I am sorry that people got burned. I almost did not get paid.
So has anyone been able to figure out/run down the actual parties involved in NSG so that service can be performed. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to pursue this through legal means? As far as I can find there doesn't appear to be a Nationwide Services Group, Inc. registered in Ohio.

Also, does an employee of a company that knows a company is going under yet convinces people to do further work become culpable as well? My logic on this matter makes a certain KSS Scheduler very liable for this entire situation.
Laura Unger jumped ship before things hit the fan. I personally will not accept any of her assignments, regardless of who she works for. It is a matter of principle.

The company is done. They have lost all of their clients. The MSPA was looking into it. But I have not heard any updates.

I agree with audrialyn. Nationwide is gone. Laura Unger (who now works for Kern Scheduling) certainly saw it coming and was scheduling fast and furious right before leaving, asking some longtime shoppers to take on shops as a favor to her. One earlier poster was burned for a couple thousand dollars. I shopped with Nationwide from 2008 and got burned on my last two jobs, $150, the only time so far that I've not been paid by an MSC.

Amtank asks a good question: Because Laura Unger knew what was happening and continued to schedule jobs, many of which went unpaid, can she be held liable? I think the answer is probably not legally, although that doesn't address my thoughts on personal and moral responsibility.

Again, I'm with audrialyn on this one: I also won't ever accept an assignment from KSS scheduled by Laura Unger.
I have stopped doing shops for KSS I am still very much in their system. One of their schedulers who would call me on a regular basis to get me to take the last minute shops was very angry when I told her that I wasn't doing anymore because of who they hired.
