Quest for Best

What do you order in their fast food shop that would be under $6.00? My hamburger, fries and milkshake was almost $10 today. I like this company, though.

If I order for myself I get the burger, tater tots, and soda and it's a little over $6. If I order for my boyfriend I get the hot dog, tater tots, and soda. That's under $6. Either way, the shop itself is better than the $5.35 reimbursement by the other MSC that has the same client and offers HALF the pay!

Sincerely,

I've worked for Quest for Best semi-regularly for many years. I like the shops and the folks at Q4B but something has been bugging me for more than one year.

Has anyone noticed more and more scheduling errors on Q4B's Prophet site? There have been quite a few times that I could not self-assign a shop because the shop window was invalid. For example, shops for one client this month (September) have a March window. So, no one can self-assign.

Several of those shops have now been assigned by the scheduler(s). So, Q4B knows there's a problem. However, there are still available shops with the wrong shop window.

Wouldn't it have made sense to delete the wrong postings and post new and correct shops? How much more would it cost Q4B anyway? As things stand now, shoppers who are interested in the available shops would have to email Q4B and wait for a response. I wonder also if shoppers who are assigned shops will have problem submitting the shops because of the shop window issue.
I have noticed that Prophet in general has odd dates, warnings, error messages in self-scheduling and in changing shop dates. I don't know about Quest for Best specifically.

My experience with Prophet has been self-scheduling is almost never a problem unless the scheduler entered the wrong dates when setting up the shops, or if another shopper has self-scheduled another shop for the same location too close to my desired shop date.

I like Quest for Best. I don't shop for them as much as I did several years ago, because one of their clients closed all their restaurants in my area. Q4B pays reasonable fees and reimbursements and their people are friendly and professional.

I may be a worrywart but I worry when I see repeated irregularities from an MSC that did not use to have them, be those irregularities related to payment, scheduling, or something else.

I didn't mean that I find many problems with Prophet self-scheduling. I meant that I have found problems with Prophet but not for any particular MSP that uses Prophet.

I'm scheduled to do a fast food shop for them today and I just sent an email to the scheduler to clarify a few things. I was shocked that I got a response so quickly, especially on a Saturday. I think my expectations for this company has just gone up a little.

Making a living however I can.
