I just logged on to their web site and my shop log without a problem. It is 4:56pm in South Florida.

No problem logging in, but I am anxiously waiting for the test and guideline so I can plan my route.

@ cubbiecat ~ R U talking about the Senior Living shops? If yes, it is driving me nuts that we don't have the info yet and the dates have already been changed once. I purposely did not schedule my usual shops starting October 1st due to my commitment of 11 shops for Caliber. Now I am starting to accept other jobs but I don't want to overload myself.

Also by changing the dates, it is now overlapping with a long weekend where I will be out of town. Again I scheduled my trip around the original dates. OK, I am done whining.

I'm still waiting for the training and quiz. I have filled up the next two weeks, so will have to work the tours in. It might get stressful for me, but I am not going to flake. I'm shopping in Orlando all day tomorrow, and be back late to fill out reports. I am not looking forward to the training if it shows up tomorrow.

@ cubbiecat ~ I just received my 16-page guidelines, 17-page report, and two other multi-page documents. I have a lot of reading and training to do.

why do they wait and wait and wait until the last minute to assign ?
highly inconsiderate. I've come to the conclusion to continue booking other shops and if they come through and I'm already booked elsewhere, too bad for them.
They are an excellent company, BUT.....I love requesting a shop mid day on Friday and waiting around all morning Saturday to see if I got it or not--no more of that for me.

Ask them to wake up and use self scheduling for established shoppers as done by most other msc's with an automatic rejections based on rotation periods-Gamefilm and service sleuth do it this way--saves the schedulers enormous time.
After reading all the guidelines, forms, phone training - all I can say is that these will be my 10' pole shops!

@ cubbiecat ~ I started to print out everything and ran out of toner. I am just getting home from work now and eating dinner (after 10pm here.) How bad is the phone training? The guidelines? I am too tired to read all of it tonight. How many shops do you have assigned to you?

@ shoppinalong ~ These shops were assigned back in September but the client wanted to tweak the guidelines and forms so the delay was not on Caliber's end. If you had any of these shops assigned to you, the scheduler sent out e-mails with updates. The scheduler is from a scheduling company, not Caliber.

The phone training is only 6 minutes. I spent 2 hours calling and only managed to make 4 appointments. I am not a happy camper about these shops. I have 11 shops. I'll be curious as to what you think about the rubics.

sorry for misunderstanding

my complaint is not about the 17 page shop

they do it with all their shops.

You apply - and don't hear if you have assignment until the last possible moment.

I like the shops I apply for with them - but being left hanging to twist in the wind while waiting, just isn't my cup of tea.

Agreed, they ought to do the self assign thing with known shoppers.
I can"t seem to apply for shops They must not work Illinois. I"ve done in assess of 400 shops in the last 2 years but never find 1 under Caliber. I have even gone to Summit for help. I have not figure how to apply for shops. I even used Chicago as a destination and found nothing. Do I have to apply for individual shops and how do I find out what is available???

I live in IL and have worked for Caliber...not lately but a few times. I have found they send emails when there is something in the area. I do not check the job board. When I get the email I then go to the site and apply.
