STN - Clarifications

Good morning,

I have a question about STN. When they want clarification, you cannot respond to the email, however, when you go to the site and try to pull up the report, you cannot do that either. So I have to send to the scheduler and manager to get the response to the clarification person.

This is the 2nd time when they want more information, I have tried to do the above-referenced. Does anyone have an answer for this? Like do you just continue to send to the scheduler and manager? Is there something I am missing? I have notified STN but a response has not come yet.

When I get an email for clarification, I login on STN. On the home page, there will be an indicator in red, 'Report in Error', 'Error in Report', or similar, I can't recall. The red error message is near the top of the home page, on the left. Clicking on the Error message opens a pane for you to enter and submit the clarification.

You should still be able to review your report, in order to check what you submitted, before clarifying. I always save a copy of my clarification.

Hi Mert,

I did do that and the only option it gave me was to print the report. Maybe there is a clitch, I really don't know, however, it can be frustrating huh?

Log into STN
Upper right hand click "Finalize Shops"
then click "Needing Clarification"
Your list of reports needing clarification will be listed.
Click "submit" (it will have a graphic of a pencil)
You will get a text box with the same request that you received in their email.
Thanks for all the input. I just discovered something that really had nothing to do with my original question. I started printing out a copy before submitting the report. The last two clarifications needed - I had already answered, it was on my copy. So I am figuring that somewhere there might be a transmission issue. I did notify STN to let them know. When I went to where you respond like Mert suggested, the entire page where I was to respond was filled with gobbly gook! Letter, symbols etc. However, I was able to send the clarification to them in spite of this.

Be prepared to answer accurately. I've had some shops dinged because of my answer to the clarification. They are strict with regards to this.
