What Companies Offer Public Transportation Shops?

Are public transportation companies still shopped? If so, can anyone suggest companies that sometimes offer public transporation shops (i.e. passenger trains and buses)? Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I forgot all about checking jobslinger. It's time I put that site into my favorite places. After checking their site, it appears that a company called Feedback Plus does a few Transportation shops (of course I will not mention these exact companies due to the privacy agreements). Another company I found that seems to do them is A Customer's Point Of View, however I remember signing up with them over the summer and they never even sent me a confirmation e-mail approving my application. I recently sent them an e-mail to question my status with them. I'm thinking perhaps they don't do shops in the NYC area. Also, after doing a little more homework, it seems that the Chicago Transit Authority offers a special mystery shopping program amongst themselves rewarding free transit passes to those who complete audits for them. I guess this is something for those living in the Chicago area should check out if they use their mass transit system regularily. Thanks again Arch for reminding me of jobslinger. Hopefully Feedback Plus approves me soon! They seem to pay fairly well according to their website.
Just curious if Feedback Plus ever got back to you. I applied with them a while ago and have never heard. When I go to login, I have the wrong password so I tried to have them send me my password, but it says no account with my email. I tried to sign up again, thinking I must've done something wrong, but it says I am already signed up.

Not sure if I want to work for them now! LOL
1. Did the bus driver pull up close to the curb?
2. Was the driver reckless? What was his driving speed
3. Did the driver wear a uniform and name badge?
4. Were there enough seats for everyone?
5. Did the driver make correct change for you?
6. Were the ads in the bus new or left over from last month? Were any offensive?
7. Was the bus clean? Were the seats in good condition?
8. How long did you wait on line for the bus to come? Provide minutes and seconds on your stopwatch.
.
Yes, Feedback Plus finally got back to me after I sent them an e-mail to confirm my membership. That's when they assigned me a password. The thing that I found strange was that the jobs posted on jobslinger for Feedback Plus were NOT listed on Feedback Plus's website itself. The only conclusion that I can come up with is that I didn't qualify for those jobs yet since I haven't worked for Feedback Plus yet.

Regarding Customer's Point Of View, I also sent them an e-mail questioning my membership status and basically they aren't doing any current shops in the NYC area.
Bummer. Thanks for the info. I'm also in NJ and would love some transit shops. I love the train and the subway, although with the newest threats against the NYC subway system I guess it's best not to go there. I was able to get a shop in a train station and I'm getting my train fare reimbursed, which should make for a pleasant shop.
Susan, was the shop at "a train station" assigned to you through Feedback Plus or another MS company? I was just wondering what MS company offered you a train station shop? As long as we don't mention the exact transit company, I'm sure it's ok to post the info. Thanks for any suggestions.
It wasn't the actual station that I will get to shop... I just got lucky that they needed shops done for stores in a train station, and the train station is in the middle of nowhere!
Either Intelli-Shop or BARE had one the other day for a major bus location located in NYC midtown west. You had to buy a bus ticket and I think it was late at night...
Oh I forgot to say it is for Customer Service Excellence. Sorry!

I saw the bus ticket ones. They also had them in NJ. The bus stations are for major lines and in NJ they are in sketchy areas that I wouldn't go to...
That's very strange you mentioned that Arch because I saw the very SAME bus ticket shop on jobslinger and Feedback Plus was the company their site claimed was doing that particular shop. However, like I mentioned in an earlier posting, Feedback Plus did NOT have that shop listed on their website itself! I guess I could've e-mailed the scheduler if I really wanted to do that shop, but since it was an over-night shop through 3AM, I wasn't interested. I get e-mails from BARE all the time (duplicates actually) but nothing relating to transportation shops. I don't think I'm even a member with Intelli-shop. I should check them out I guess. Are they any good?
INtellishop pays fairly but expects ***very**** detailed reports for everything and takes exactly 60 days to pay.If it is something with no purchase, go for it. If it is a purchase, is it one you would make anyway? If so, go for it. If not, it is NOT worth the wait. My opinion. Hard to reach people there. They do not answer emails except if they sent it to you.

Yeah, I read similar reviews about Intellishop. I decided not to join that company for the same reasons. Unfortunately, there are only a handful of really GOOD companies out there that always pay on time and have simple report forms.
