QAMS - Lightning Fast Payment

I just received an early payment from QAMS for a delicious shop. The check arrived exactly ten days after I did the shop and submitted the report. Taking into account mailing time, that was sent out quickly. Woo hoo!

As I write this, it's triggering a memory... I think this is consistent behavior for them. Is that your experience, also?

I had the exact same experience (same shop, I'm sure). I was so pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure if it was a one-off because it was for a specific project and time but either way, I'll take it!

I need like 60-75 jobs from this company for next week alone. How can I do this?
You probably can't. There is not that kind of volume of shops. To get the most shops available in your area, sign up with as many companies as you can.

No way. They are a low volume msc. Right now they have 43 shops for the entire US.

Look you are not making sense here. We are trying to help new shoppers as we always do, and you are being unreasonable. Maybe get some rest and then come back.
From reading your previous posts I'm left with the impression you want to make money now, like prior to Christmas and are using the forum as some sort of fast track. Sixty to 75 shops is not realistic for a new shopper to complete in a month, let alone a week. I can't think of any mystery shopping company that would even let you try that many shops. I have been shopping for over five years and still have caps on the number of assignments I can take with a new company.

Sorry to disappoint you, but if you wanted mystery shopping money for Christmas you should have started in August, maybe September at the latest. A handful of companies pay within ten days to two weeks, many pay the month following your shop and some pay two to three months later. In other words, most shops you could complete starting now would not even pay you until mid to late January.

Mystery shopping is a serious business. Like any other business, nobody starts at the top of the food chain. Experience and professionalism will get you there.

Just like LISASTL says. One up:*

QAMS is one of the fasting paying company. You do what they ask and follow the guideleines to a TEE. They will have your check in the mail before they finish reading the report. Good company.
I'm sorry....can someone tell me what QAMS is short for?.....I can't seem to find them in the MSC directory.

Thanx
Could someone fill me in on the kinds of shops this company has and the locations they usually service(states)?
cpatterson, the best way to get that info is to sign up with them, because I believe most of us only pay attention to our own geographic areas. They may have different clients in your area. However, if they're not currently active in your area and you sign up with them, you'll be ready if they do get clients near you.

It would be difficult to fill you in on what types of shops they do because they handle a variety. The particular shops they do are location-sensitive. Many of my friends in other locations do not see the same shops or even the same types of shops as I do. They are a good company. Signing up is not tremendously time-consuming. Once you are signed up, you will be able to search their job board and they will e-mail you about jobs in your area.
Qams can be very fast paying but dont expect it to always be as fast as 10 days. One of my recent Qams shops took around 21 days to be paid. 21 days is still pretty fast in my opinion. I think it is more a matter of what time frame your shop falls in and how long the mail takes. In this case there was a holiday thrown in as well.

That one (1) sandwich, got me paid in three days. smiling smileysmiling smileysmiling smileysmiling smileysmiling smileysmiling smileysmiling smileysmiling smiley They still is a great company.
There are several ways to find that information. The most basic is to register with the company. Another alternative is to register with the various job sites, Jobslinger & MSJobBoard.com to name a couple, and use them as a starting point to target companies in your area. Keep in mind, not all companies utilize the job boards which then puts you back to registering.

Yes, they do. I have done a couple for them where I live.

MSPA Silver shopper shopping the Southeastern states.
I so miss qams. No PC and no phone utility warrantly shops. Boo hoo. Maybe next year.
I had never worked for QAMS before this week. I was assigned a sandwich shop. When I arrived, the location was out of business. I took pictures to document and shot off an email to the scheduler with said photos. I received a very quick response from Mary (who was not the scheduler) apologizing that the location was closed. Even better, she let me know that I would be payed $2 more than the original pay amount and did not need to fill out a report.

I really appreciate the way this was handled and it makes me want to do more shops for QAMS.
QAMS only has one client in my area, but it's one I love. The shop is easy, the report is easy, the pay isn't really high, but the reimbursement is good, and I love the items I get. I just did my second job yesterday. As I recall, payment for my first shop with them was really fast, too. I just wish they had more shops in my area!

WOW! Today I received my check from QAMS. They must have put it in the mail immediately after finding out the location was closed. Amazing!
I get checks twice a month from QAMs. It's a great company to do business with. Pay is fairly low, but you get your pay and reimbursement so quickly, it makes it worth it, IMHO.
Generally, you will receive your payment within a month of completing a shop. I've never had any issues with this company.
