Trendsource *!#*@#

Wow! I've posted here for quite a while & I hope most of you know that I'm not usually a negative person.

A scheduler at Trendsource has shown herself to be completely incompetent and, dare I say it, ignorant. I would prefer to remain vague because I'd rather keep things anonymous but I'm a frustrated beyond belief. Essentially, I was automatically scheduled for a shop 40 miles away because it was "so close to me." I was able to cancel the shop, but the scheduler essentially blamed me for requesting it, which is simply not true.

I know this is minor in the overall scheme of things that people have to put up with, but it's still very frustrating & my blood is BOILING right now. She was very rude to me and treated me like a moron, when she is the one who made mistake after mistake after mistake.

Thanks for letting me vent!

By the way, I just googled the scheduler & came upon a sort of online resume for her. She's a "temporary" agent for Trendsource & lists the following details about herself:

"Extremely polished consultative sales person consistently recognized as "top producer". Highly successful business development and contract negotiation track record. Superior ability to energize a room and build customer trust. Customers consistently tell me they sign with me because of my high energy, positive personality, not necessarily the 'product'."

My experience with her was decidely different!
That's quite the self-description. I know that there are benefits to "tooting your own horn", but wow, she brought the whole wind section - literally!

Shopdal,

My compliments on being aware of the difference between a "wind" section and an orchestra's woodwinds.
Trendsource employees read the forum ....... maybe this will give them a new view of their polished top-producer temp.
I am willing to bet she has never worked in the industry and really has no clue. She is also most likely one who looks down on the "little people".
It appears there is a reason she had to take on a temp job and was unemployed in the first place.

P.S. In another life I was a corporate recruiter, and would have laughed while tossing aside a resume with that much filler and BS in it.
I don't know. It wasn't all that grandiose. She forgot to mention that her excrement has no aroma.

Don't you love how the customers buy things from her, just because she's her and not because they need and/or want the product? I'd like to buy her for what she is worth and sell her for what she thinks she is worth.

Thank you all for making me smile. I was seriously fuming when I wrote my message this morning. I hate being treated like I'm a moron with poor communication skills << she actually cited my poor communication skills. Now that I think about it...I'm getting riled up again! Grrrrr...

I looked her up. She has had no less than 5 jobs in the last 9 years. I'm thinking you are most likely not the one with communication issues.

I know of whom you speak, she does not mention that her wind emits from both ends.

Sounds like her employers are not buying into her self-description as a "top producer". Or they ARE, and have figured out what she REALLY is producing.

Love that phrase "superior ability to energize a room". Makes me think of people scrambling and crashing into one another in a mad dash to escape from her vicinity as quickly as possible. winking smiley

This is why we need this forum. It is our breakroom where we can gather and gossip about the "bosses"
