I am so glad I pushed so hard this fall for my payments. SO glad.

Glad you got paid Dee and many, many, many thanks for the heads up about problems with this company because I had been considering several big bucks outlay reimbursement + smallish fee jobs for them.

I am feeling grateful that in 2008 I got stiffed only by Datatron going out of business suddenly leaving shoppers holding the bag and possibly by Sparks Perry, who indicated a check was sent which was never received (and 12/29 they emailed in response to the ??th request for payment that it was "Being taken care of today." I have not yet received the check . . . but it is only 1/4/09 so far).

My policy for 2009 is that except for companies that are paying like clockwork I will do new jobs only once all previous jobs have been paid and I won't be having big bucks reimbursements outstanding with folks who aren't paying in a timely fashion--no matter how much there is in the 'for reimbursements' account. It may be a long lean year but not being paid fees is one thing and not being reimbursed cash paid out on behalf of a company is something else again!
