InTouch Systems

I received a notice out-of-the-blue from a company I had first signed up with over a year ago but for whom I have yet to do any shops. The company is called In-Touch Insight Systems and it is based in Canada but does a lot of grocery-type shops in the U.S.

I did not see any discussions for this company on this forum so I want to throw out a question to all concerned. Has anyone done any shops for this company? If so, were you satisfied with the results and were you paid ontime?

I did a few easy gas station shops for them last year and they paid me. Most of the time they have no jobs and for that reason alone they are worthless.
several topics on them from recent times...

I did a shop for them recently where the employee was angry at me because I asked what the price of milk was. He went on a rant saying the price is posted here and here and here. I reported that. Then, predictably, I was told that I had been "recognized" as a shopper, would not be paid, and was de-activated!
I was not "recognized", they just wanted someone else to give a better report. Because I reported honestly, I was out money and a job. You can't get much lower than that.
I have done several grocery stores and audits for them never had any problems. Payment has been like clockwork.
Hi,
I have completed several shops with them in Atlantic Canada and their surveys are quick. They also pay like clockwork every two weeks. I would recommend them!
Speaking only from the Canadian perspective, this is one of the top mystery shopping companies up here. The schedulers care about accommodating their shoppers and are very easy to work with. The shops are reasonable and pay checks arrive on time without a fight. The shops and reports are straightforward and simple.

Some of you may have shopped with Service Intelligence before In Touch bought them. Simply put, In Touch is reliable, reputable and realistic. Enjoy!
In touch is one of my favorites and I recommend them.

Service Intelligence's pay schedule was a little less confusing for me. They pay once a month, from the 1st to the end of month...easy accounting. I have not figured out In Touch's schedule, but it appears to be somewhere in the middle of the month, but not quite.

I have been registered with service intelligence for many years. Now that they are owned by In Touch can I see the In Touch shops or do I have to also register with In Touch.

Log in to InTouch with your email account and Service Intelligence password. I'm usually paid twice a month, but I'm not sure exactly where the cutoff is.
I've had mixed results with this company, and I've done probably about 25-30 shops for them in the last 18 months.

I like their website and search functions (minus the slow loading speed), and I like that it's mostly all self-assign jobs. The early bird gets the worm with this place, that's for sure.

I've encountered a very crabby scheduler, though. "Crabby" is a polite way of putting what I really think. smiling smiley

love in touch, pays every two weeks. Never had a problem with them.

expect the unexpected
I love In-touch. The shops are easy, the paperwork easy to follow and they direct deposit to my bank every two weeks. Most shops are self-assign and once you pass the test, you are ready to go.
The change from SI to IT that I really, really don't like is that we are only allowed 6 active shops at any given time. Has anyone been able to talk their way to more than 6 shops?

What do you mean 6 active shops? I've done many
more then that at once for them without issue

I meant we can only have 6 shops out at a time. If I do two, then I can pick up another two. With SI, I was able to have 15 shops out at a time.

Never noticed that being an issue? Is that a new policy
just started? Last month I did routes in the same day
of more then 6 shops

I have been shopping with them since Service Intelligence was bought or merged with them about a year ago.

They have straightforward instructions, are easy to deal with, pay quickly (perhaps twice a month). Their website is a bit awkward at times as it can display less than the number of available shops in a state with no way to narrow down the search parameters.

They can be recommended as a reputable MSP.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
You can narrow it down just type the two letter state
in the state box and it will filter it automatically

I just accepted my first shop with this MSC. I printed out the guidelines without a hitch. But for the life of me, I can not print out the response sheet which I think is their version of the report. When I attempt to print it, the system keeps calculating the number of pages upwards of 200 pages. Of course I don't actually print it.

There is a link at the top right corner about a printing issue with Mozilla Firefox but I am not using that system. Please help me.

P.S. This is my first grocery shop, first shop with this MSC, and I never worked for the previous MSC that was taken over by this one.

I just did my first three shops today with InTouch. It sure was refreshing to get paid decently for a shop that did not require narratives! I did not have any problems printing out the forms for my shops (yes, response sheets), which were 6 pages each for these convenience store shops. I guess contact someone from their company?
I use a free program called PDFcreator to print this type of page. It installs as a virtual printer on your computer and "prints" to a file and saves as a PDF.
Hi. I have been doing shops for In Touch and they are great and pay on time. They give you an option to have $$ deposited directly into your bank account and this is the method I use.
Sablaser--You need to remove the client name from your post. I see you're new here--just some friendly advice. It's an ICA violation.

On one occasion, I was able to get more than six through a scheduler who assigned me to several hard-to-fill locations, bringing my total over six. However, I was not able to self-assign any additional locations until I brought my total back down to under six.

I'm actually kind of happy about the self-assign limit, because it allows for more people to have a chance at grabbing some easy and flexible shops in my very competitive market. Sure, I would love to be able to snap up 15 or 20 of their shops in one swoop, but the fact that I would probably do just that if given the opportunity (and the fact that others would, quite likely, do the same) is exactly why the limit is probably not so bad. winking smiley
Hello to all,

I am trying to login to the shopper section of their website and cannot find the sign-in link for shoppers. I found the link for clients, but not us. I have some shops scheduled with them and am freaking out. I was going to add them to my list for tomorrows jobs, but if I can't get in, I will have to re-schedule for another time.

Can anyone post the link for shopper log ins? I would appreciate it and thanks.
