Appears to be a new company. I just signed with them about a week ago to try and get a cell phone related assignment, which isn't a mystery shop. Not quite sure what it would be classified as. Wish I could have tried it. Given the nature of the assignment, I'd say they're legit. They only have two clients right now.
I just completed one shop for them and am scheduled for another next week. It was a compliance shop with no needed interaction with staff. It went well, but I will reserve judgement until I get paid.
Just did my first shop with them, one of those no interaction shops where you just check for compliant signage etc within the store. I described what happened in another thread. The audit itself was extremely easy & quick... getting a business card was impossible & very aggravating! I would give a more of an overview here, but the doggies are woofing for their dinners. smiling smiley

Have no idea how/when I'll be paid. Or if. Heh.

Would someone post the URL for this company? I'm having a problem locating it for some reason.

I used the contact link on the shop log, and fully explained the situation to the scheduler, including that I ended up making a $1.19 purchase, and that I wasn't sure how else I could have handled it, since there were no business cards, and none of the brochures had a location address on them. Here is the reply I received:

"We'll reimburse for the $1.19 this time.

"In the future, there are other creative ways you can handle this such as taking a photo of the address on the front door and uploading it or handwriting the address on a brochure and taking a photo and uploading it, both of which have been done by other shoppers.

Thanks for your efforts!"

Which I think is very nice of them. I replied to say thanks! But getting a photo of the address on the front door wouldn't have been very covert, as it had crossed my mind but that is why I didn't go with that one. I hadn't known that we could just hand-write the location's address on the brochure and have it accepted -- it seems other shops with other companies hadn't allowed this, so I didn't think it would be acceptable.

We'll see if any more of these come up in my area, and if I get them. Now that I know this, I would be happy to take as many as come along. I'm just disappointed I didn't get the other two in my area that I did apply for when I got this one!

I can't imagine there are business cards available at Wal-Mart, either.

Oh, and as an aside, the example business card in the guidelines is from a Best Buy. Wonder where in the world they got that?!

Sometimes there are business cards to be had at Best Buy. I have been given one in appliances before. Also, I have been able to snag one off of the Magnolia counter in the TV/audio department.

I wasn't able to find one when I was there. Fortunately, Wal-Mart has plenty of very inexpensive items, so I just made a tiny purchase to get a receipt. I saw your other post with additional suggestions on how to obtain proof of visit for that MSC, though, and will take that advice for future visits.

I thought of appliances, but couldn't find one. A sales person came over to help me after just a couple of minutes (imagine that! too bad I wasn't mystery shopping the appliances this time!) and I *asked* for one after a brief discussion, and he said he didn't have any, and they weren't on commission anyway, so don't worry about it. I checked the TV area, too, at that desk area... nothing. I went to Geek Squad and inquired about computer repair for my Aunt, and then asked for a card I could give her so she could call and give more specifics... he said they didn't have cards and just wrote the number on the back of a completely blank receipt. No store number, address, phone number, anything ~ he just had the register run out a slip of blank paper.

Before, at other stores, *one* of these have worked! But this time, nothing. *sigh!* smiling smiley

I wish they'd send business cards to ALL Best Buys! To all stores, really ~ especially if they want us to obtain one!

Yeah! That's why I was so frustrated after that shop. Here I was, so happy that the audit part was done in about 10 minutes, and I was thinking, "Now all I need is a business card & I'm outta here!" Ha! I tried the Geek Squad 1st because they're on the way out and it sounded the easiest, least time-consuming, and most plausible (my Aunt really had asked that question!).

Then all down hill from there. Heh. I was just so aggravated when I left there. I was almost late to watch NCIS that night! smiling smiley

But I laugh now. Plus I was so happy with the way the MSC said they'll handle it.
