anyone have problems with this company. I did shops for them for a major cell phone company and they make up excuses for no payment.

I've done several shops with this company and didn't have a problem. Perhaps your reports weren't accepted. Is that what happened?

I have never had any problem with this company. Will you please elaborate what happened and what the "excuses" were? Thanks.
I've shopped for them since 2008 with never a shop unpaid. What excuses are you hearing?
Just a guess but maybe the same excuses provided by Second to None, Bestmark, MarketForce and Troy Dolan.

My experiences have been the same as others have posted here - no problems ever with payment, and I've done scads of cell phone assignments for them.

Yes. More info needed. I was only unpaid once when b/c of tech difficulties report was very late. They are one of the more lenient and helpful msc s. They post that you can decline or cancel a shop, even if it is a little overdue, without penalty.

I've done dozens of shops for them, and like most other posters, have never had the slightest problem.
I like Measure Consumer...they pay somwhat quickly, I have had no problem and they can be flexible as well.

Call them, they answer the telephone as well as emails.
I doubt a phone call would clear it up. Usually when someone says a company will "make up excuses for no payment" it is code for, "because I screwed up they won't pay me so the company is bad."

I refuse to believe that any company would stay in business if they make up excuses just so they don't have to pay a shopper. The word would get around fast and they eventually would lose all of their experienced shoppers.
I've shopped with them since 2009. I've never had a problem with payment.

Once they even were willing to give me the steakhouse shop along with a "toy" shop that they were having problem getting filled at an out-of-town location. I didn't make sense for me to do only one of the shops, but I could justify doing both as long as I was assured I could get both.

I think Lisa STL nailed it in both of her posts.

Sorry I did not leave the building I do have a life and do not sit on a computer on allday
mnairus - thanks for returning. What specific excuses did MCP use to not pay you? What were the circumstances? This forum is pretty helpful if there is a problem in helping you to correct that problem.
Sorry Lisa, I disagree. My own experience thought me that is not always the case.

My very first posts on these boards were a complaint about MCP too. Being the very first time a company has let me down I did not know any better on how to express my disappointment. But, In my case, I did not flake on the then MCP's pizza shops. I had shops on their then Sassie and shopmetrics sites stating "OK FOR PAY" or "Payment pending" but then the payment seemed to have vanished in cyber space!!

I got partly paid several months down the road, yes, however had I not come here and made a fuss about it, I would never have seen a penny of what I was due. That is the reason why I would not go back and edit my initial complaint about a company. Newcomers to the boards have a right to the facts and truth just as they occurred at the time. They are entitled for the whole picture no less than old timers are!

If shoppers like Mnarius and also another shopper who recently posted about MCP and whose handle I cannot remember right now, bother to use the search engine they would understand right off the bet that they are not the first and sadly, probably wont be the last to be burnt by the said MSC!

Reading the previous posts from mnarius may put things in perspective. He/she is far from a new member, being here for over five years. The posts are virtually all negative and about problems with being deactivated. Deactivation from multiple companies is usually a sign that the complainer is the issue.

Speaking of MSP, has anyone done the new shops on their board regarding hail damage? It seems to me that this is another company (besides mVentix) who is doing other than mystery shopping.
My guess, it has become appealing to companies offering jobs other than mystery shopping because MSCs have access to such a large pool of ICs. Much of the auditing work we do now would have been handled by employees in years past and in many cases the client would have had to send them in from another area. Clients are saving a lot of money when they don't have to pay all those travel costs on top of salaries and benefits.

Lisa I am not the problem I do not do shops for a mere few dollars and I also will not let a shop company take advantage of me. This is something that I do on the side I have done over a 1000 shops so why don't you shut your mouth and get a life. I see that you have many posts on here which means that you do not have a life and need to get a life
Thank you. Up until now I didn't realize I had no life. Granted the 6,000 plus shops I've completed over the last five or six years have taken up a bit of my time. But what the hell, if I can work a couple of weeks a month and have all my bills paid it can't be such a bad life. Interestingly enough, I work with many of the companies you complain about. The only difference is my pay is well into the double digits, often the triple digits and I always get paid.

He keeps saying he has a life and can't sit on a computer instead of taking the same amount of time to give details of the incident he came here to gripe about.

I think I just ran out of soup.

Hello, I just applied for a luxury car shop with Measure and it has been over 24 hours with no response and the deadline for the shop has come and gone. This is my 1st application for a shop with them and I'm really new but never have had to wait over 24 hours for a response.

Any word on how long the turnaround is, regarding receiving a response from them after you request a shop? thank you in advance!
