ICCDS Scheduling issue

I had two shops scheduled for today and unfortunately my oldest son decided to fall and hit his head. He has a bump the size of a softball and the doc says he needs to be watched closely. Hubby is out of town til tonight. I have emailed Claudia at Iccds several times and left a message hoping to reschedule for tomorrow. I didn't get a response, but I cannot leave my son alone. I just got back into mystery shopping after a long hiatus and really don't want to be thought of as unreliable. Any advice?

You have done what you can after finding yourself in an emergency. Your request is quite reasonable considering the extenuating circumstances and I've found ICCDS to be a reasonable company.

When I was applying for the jobs I had to pick a date to do them and I had picked today to build a route of sorts. But originally I could have picked any day through tomorrow. I just hope that still holds true. I really dislike that you have to pick a specific date now in Sassie. I mean I understand why, but ugh.
I wouldn't worry about it. I am sure that they will understand. I had a similar situation back in January with Intelishop and ath Power. I had shops scheduled for each and then got real sick. I first asked if they can re-schedule them for a week later, which they did. I was still sick so I then asked them to cancel them. This did not effect my standing with the companies at all. It probably helped that I had a good history with both companies.

Good news about my son though, no headache (cannot see how that is possible), not sleepy and eating normally. Going to have a wicked shiner though.
I don't think having to choose a specific date is a Sassie issue. It is aggravating that several companies are going that route rather than continuing to allow the date range. I can only assume the inability to then change a date is because of Sassie and that is aggravating as hell when the MSC had previously allowed a date change on their own sites. It is a lot more work for everyone and why the MSCs keep jumping on the Sassie bandwagon is beyond me, especially when the MSC has salaried schedulers who are now spending additional time on the reschedules.

I just woke up and checked my email. No email from Claudia specifically, but she did change the dates on those shops. Oops....I just got an email from Claudia now and it is all fine. Now to wake up a bit more as I can't see the screen properly.
Good for you. ICCDS has been a pleasure to work with. The scheduler was indeed good and made it worthwhile. I am still considering whether to take that high-end shop as it is self-assign. Nowadays, I find I am very picky about the company I
work with.
