I like it! I will probably still search 'all' but like the option of only searching what I am wanting to do. I am also thoroughly happy about payday being today! smiling smiley
Did the fees go down?! I checked at 11:45 today and again now and some of the "bonused" shops were back to the standard rate.

I think bonuses are only on weekends or just Sunday. I found that out when I did shops for them in Feb.
Mine show the same fees as yesterday. Maybe the bonused shops were scheduled and fresh shops created. I have been bonused throughout the week. I don't think certain days matter expect for the end of the month. I did notice a lot of shops were grabbed early this month with a smaller fee so I am assuming there are a lot more shoppers coming. smiling smiley
I wish they would increase the shop fees b/c we all know they are getting way more than $7-$10 a shop. The bonuses are only to say----->"we can pay more but we won't until the right time". The cost of living has gone up and the price of gas is no cheap deal. With other MSC's as competition should be the one thing they should entertain. "Free groceries" are not free if we must eat to survive and we must wait 30 days to be reimbursed.

As for the new board--->indifferent. As long as I can select the shops I want and when I want. No problem. smiling smiley
I don't like it. It has a bug or something. I searched from 4/10 to 4/17 and it came up with one shop on 4/12.
Then I searched from 4/10 to 5/30 and it only showed shops in May! I then searched from 4/10 to 4/30 and it showed the one shop again on the 12th.

I'm going to be pretty irritated if I have to run two different searches every time if it's not going to pull shops correctly.
Did they not have too many grocery stores or any of the 100 dollar for jeans stores this month? I didn't see any in my portal except for grocery stores that weren't "right".
I don't have any real problems with it. I only wish there was an "all dates" option instead of having to specify the dates myself.

Well right now I hate it as I can't seem to get onto Market Force (aside from the home page) at all. I wanted to switch around a couple of jobs and do them tonight.

I just entered a report. The site was periodically slow; but I was able to do what I had to.
I am more worried about the SPAR job search tool. I did a lot of stuff for the Purple Portal people and noticed they have not been putting any new projects up on the Purple site but I have not seen anything new from SPAR either. As far as the Blue portal new search tool I am okay with it BUT..... I always do a 200 mile perimeter search from my zip code because the standard 50 mile search was missing a lot of shops within that distance, the 200 mile search gives me shops I would never consider going to but at least I get an accurate listing of everything that IS close by.

I guess, but do you think the clients are tossing top dollar that the MSCs when they have many MSCs to choose from? You have to adjust. I shop closer to home when I am in between projects. If I didn't bank when I am on a project, I guess I'd be picking up better paying side employment.

On a real-to-me note, I am doing a turnaround for a client that had record profits last year. So, naturally, they cut the T/A budget in half for this year. Oops. Sounds about right these days.

Oh, I like the new page, btw.
Do not care for it. The mileage scale is is not correct. For a job 30 miles from me I have to search 100 to 150 miles. Not a problem I guess? I just do not like the new system.
I love it, because finally, FINALLY, I can block all the post security airport shops. I used to get 10-15 daily for an airport that is not even in my city.

When the change was first unveiled, it was fine ~ even an improvement in some small ways.

Tonight, though, when I searched for shops, I clicked to sort by address, as I have always done. Rather than sorting them by city, as has always been the case before, it sorted them on... well, I don't really know what. I couldn't see any pattern there at all. So I had to read through the whole list to find my main cities I watch in my radius, and they were sprinkled here & there.

Grrrrr.

I don't understand why the default search is for only one week and you cannot change it. Some of the restaurant shops that I like are usually posted 3 to 4 weeks in advance, so now I have to change the date search everytime to find them.
I like it other than when I sort by address. I prefer it to sort by city instead of street number like other posters have mentioned.

You can change the date by clicking on the date and seeing the rest of the month. I generally change the display number, the mileage distance and the date for the future,(to bad sad smileysad smiley it won't display in the next month.)

Yeah, I guess we can display the future month(s).smiling smileysmiling smileygrinning smileygrinning smiley

I tried it, it's not that much in the future. Looks like at least 30 days out. I put in June 3rd, and it said 224 shops over May 3rd where it indicated 202 shops. Most were repeat shops for April. But I tried. cool smiley cool smiley

I'm neutral about it. It's not much different than the old way. Just takes some getting used to.
I just wish the default was to show all jobs instead of just those due in one week.
I hate it! It takes me triple the time to look for jobs and fiddle with the dates and clients etc. I liked the one long list a lot better than multiple pages where you have to scroll back to the top after each one. It's just terrible, IMHO. I want the old way back. I used to check their boards regularly. Now, I've only checked once or twice all week. I liked the option of seeing all dates in the future so I could grab the locations I preferred. Now, I have to make an extra step to find them further out and it's just so annoying. There are so many jobs around here that it takes forever to load that way. If I limit the types, the list is shorter, but then I have to repeat the process to find different shop types. I don't think it was an improvement at all, at least for this area where there are so many jobs to choose from. Going through all the steps could take me an hour to search for jobs. It's not worth my time. I'll wait for them to call me and check when I have free time which isn't very often.

Bring back the old board!!!
