carpet cleaning job for compliance solutions worldwide

I just got an email from a friend that was looking for people to do a carpet cleaning mystery shop. I read through the posting and it is IDENTICAL to the one previously offered by franchise compliance inc.last year. That company was a complete scam and never paid the mystery shoppers. There was no way to find the company president or anyone who could or would intervene on behalf of the many mystery shoppers who had paid for the carpet cleaning ($200) and were never reimbursed. I would be very careful of this company which may be franchise compliance reorganized under another name since the pressure was on them and the word was out that they could not be trusted. I would hate to find out that shoppers are falling victim to the scam that I was involved in so please beware. I know this forum has info on the problems with franchise compliance so you might want to check this out.

I did a shop for Compliance Solutions last January. It was easy. The shop was covert for the first half , then you were to reveal yourself as you needed to ask the carpet cleaner to preform some tasks and sign a paper. The carpet was cleaned very well. I received a check from Compliance Solutions for the full amount of the cleaning and cost of mailing dirty water sample. I very much liked getting over $230 of carpet cleaning value for a short afternoon of my time. I admit it was my first time doing a shop with the company, but they did pay in full.
P.S. My carpet was so dirty!
It's understandable people are cautious. Franchsie Compliance bured a lot of people. I myself am skeptical of this company. After all, they admitted they were once affiliated with Franchise Compliance.
When and where was the admission by Compliance Solutions they ever were affiliated with Franchise Compliance?

That explains why I never saw it. That is a surprise since Compliance Solutions has been around a long time, since before Franchise went south. If you come across it again, please include a link. I'm sure it would help a lot of people.

Compliance Solutions is legit and has no connection with Franchise Compliance. I have worked with Compliance Solutions before and also have done the carpet cleaning job. I got paid promptly.

Rest is your wish...
if it involves carpet cleaning and shopping, dont do it. Plain and Simple.

Not true, AFAIK. Some posters claimed CSW admitted a connection with FC. The only posts by CSW on V I found on the issue consisted of *denials* of any connection.

Belive what you want. But I remember that Christine orignally posted that she and Franchise Compliance were once affilated at one point and time. I know what I saw. Thats why I steered clear of them. I haven't checked to see if it is still there, but it definetly used to be there.
This is from a member on volition in 2007:

I believe it is franchise compliance. The same scheduler scheduled me a shop and initially send me to the franchise compliance site but then said she would put it at the other site. Her email is from franchise compliance.

This is from Christina Palmer in 2007:

As a shopper it is always wise to check things out before signing up. Compliance Solutions Worldwide is NOT affiliated with Franchise Compliance, Inc. We are looking to grow the US market as well as internationally. Let me know if you have any other questions. We'd love to have you join our team! -Christina

Hello Shoppers! Compliance Solutions Worlwide is a growing company and would love to have you join our exciting team of evaluators! We are NOT associated with Franchise Compliance, Inc. We are a completely separate company and are not affiliated with FCI in anyway.

This is from Antonio of CTCSS in 2011:

I wanted to point out again that Compliance Solutions is in no way associated with FCI. All of the work that you see come from CSW will be scheduled through Coast to Coast Scheduling. Also, there are some pretty new and exciting accounts coming on board in a multitude of fields. I would encourage you to get and keep your profiles up to date and to keep watching your e-mail and our board for shops and opportunities in your area!!

This is again from Antonio in 2012:

I wanted to come back here and echo what has been said before. Compliance Solutions is not AT ALL associated with Franchise Compliance. There has been some confusion and speculation as to a connection but there is no such connection. If there are any questions at all, please feel free to let me know so that I can answer them. Thanks!

It seems like this issue won't go away. As far back as 2007 it was denied by the president of CSW. If there ever was a link between the two it appears to have been over 6 years ago. I think we should put this issue to rest and take CSW on their merits. Do they have jobs that a shopper wants at a fair price and do they pay. There are members on this forum that have said they have worked for CSW and gotten paid promptly.

Well, yes, I will believe what I want, but would also be open to changing my beliefs if presented with credible evidence. I have never worked for either FC or CSW and am not biased for or against CSW.

You are saying now, in April, 2013, that you saw an incriminating post by Christine [sic] of CSW. However, back in June and July of 2012, you did not appear to have seen such a post.

frodosdojo was the one who claimed to have seen such a post:

"At one time these two companies were affiliated in 2007. There is a thread on the v site from the president of Compliance Solutions which says they are affiliated and then a couple of posts down says they are no longer affiliated in 2009. Shoppers noted they had the same shopper id for both companies."

As I pointed out in that thread, I believed frodosdojo misread the V thread.

Several posts down, Christina wrote (in 2009): "Hello Shoppers! Compliance Solutions Worlwide is a growing company and would love to have you join our exciting team of evaluators! No. I am saying I remember seeing a post from Christine a few years back saying that they were affilated with on another. Unsure if it is still there, but it was there. Not trying to change anyones opinion. You're free to do what you want. All I am saying, is thats why I won't shop them.
Everyone has his or her opinion.

I would say give Compliance Solutions a chance. I was also skeptical at first but I did their carpet cleaning shop. It was very easy to do and the payment came within 15 days.
I have been mystery shopping for a few years now. In all, I've probably done 400-500 shops for 20 companies, but will regularly shop 8-10 companies. I have shopped a couple that I would never shop again. In one case I did an hour long car dealership shop and they disqualified it for supposedly not getting one out of about 100 items correct. (It was literally impossible to transcribe an hour-long back and forth conversation but they disqualified it anyway, no questions asked and no apology.)

Regardless, Compliance Solutions has been a very good experience, despite a difficult situation I had encountered through no fault of theirs. Without going into the boring details, I received a friendly phone call from Christina which really demonstrated the concern they have about their shoppers and reputation. For those that are wondering whether they should give the company a shot, please do so. As with any company, you need to be diligent about the shops you perform. But speaking with CS, I know firsthand they have as much concern about getting your fees paid as my very favorite mystery shopping companies.
I have worked with compliance solutions for a year. I had my carpet cleaned twice. The first time I was paid. I just had my carpet cleaned for the second time. The company is ok.
I had my carpets cleaned in mid September with Compliance Solutions and was very happy with the job the company did and the demeanor of the technician. I was paid in full by check October 15th. The shop was scheduled through CTCS which made me feel confident about Compliance Solutions. I had read about all the problems with Franchise Compliance, but also read the new company was okay, and it turned out fine.
