Man these people are calling non-stop for the last month or two. Ya think they might have better luck with self-assigning if they paid a few bucks more?

I just ignore the calls. I've been getting weekly calls from DSG Associates and I have never done a shop for them.
It's much cheaper for MSCs to pay too little for most of their shops and have to call some shoppers than to pay fairly for all shops and not have to call.
They might be making all the calls because their site has been broken so much since they changed it that nobody can search for jobs any more. I've been having a hard time even getting the list to load at all. It just churns and churns and won't display anything most of the time.

I used to get a lot of calls, now not so much. I get a lot of Samantha emails, which they do not respond to because I see them remain on the boards, even after I've responded to the emails. Maybe they don't like me!

Yea I get tons of Samantha. Last one yesterday. I, by mistake self assigned it normally. I told them and instead of giving me the bonus they said sorry you used the wrong way to self assign the job. LOL 30 seconds later that job was back one their list. I cancelled as fast as I applied LOL.
I too think that the new search options stinks. For example, I can find fast food shops when I specifically single them out but with a general search none appear. I wonder if they ever look at their own site as we see it.

No..The "Samantha" shops I never get a response back! Not a "Go to H"...not a "Thanks, we filled it!" Nothing!..

Now those bonus $3 buck shops.... they will add those right away, I get those instantly.

But Samantha has been lacking lately...
Samantha doesn't need to reach out to shoppers if CLs are grabbing everything up on the cheap. She can go chill and knock back a frosty cocktail while laughing her arse off.

They're calling me for airport shops now. I haven't flown in years! (partly for health reasons)
I got a desperation call from a scheduler at the end of May who then acted surprised when I asked for a bonus. The Samantha system works fine when you follow the instructions.

No fee, no shop.
I got a call from a guy with such a thick Indian accent I could barely understand him. He wanted me to the golden arches on Memorial Day in a town about an hour away for $10. I said no, he said $20, I said no. He bumped it up to $30, I said no. How the heck much money are they making on these shops that they pay us $7.50, but can go as high as $30??? Man, we work cheap.

I don't even do those shops, because it's not convenient to eat by myself and then go through the drive-thru and order another meal. It actually creates more work for me trying to go somewhere else to pick up meals for the other two in my family.

I think the conclusion here is that MF is very inconsistent, and so is their shop board.

One suggestion for using the shop board ... there's a drop down list where you can choose what kind of shops you want to see. Be sure to click "all". I had a lot more shops show up yesterday when I clicked that than I did when I just left it open to whatever their default is.

I got a phone call earlier from a scheduler who made my day. I got $45 on top of the regular fee. I have nothing bad to say about this company. smiling smiley
On calls, I suggest giving any company your happy price, a date you can do it, and 20 minutes to call you back if they want to take the offer. This sets a price and date you can live with and doesn't tie you up for a long time.

I've learned from experience that if I don't put a time frame on an offer to any company, I'm going to find myself hanging around in limbo land while they shop around for a better offer. Now, what is it I've heard so often? Oh, yeah. "We'll get back to you." Uh huh.
