I'm liking Pinnacle!

Just wanted to post something positive about an MSC. Today I performed my first shop for Pinnacle at a local credit union. I was a little apprehensive at first as I had had an unpleasant experience while doing a shop at a big nationwide bank a couple of months ago. Turned out this shop was very simple, straight-forward, and pleasant and I'm seriously even thinking of opening an account at this credit union. They have some pretty good deals on checking and I have to say I was impressed by the associate I dealt with. I wish they were all like this lol lol lol.....but then it probably would be much more competitive to get shops period I'd guess.

The more of those shops you do, the more you'll want to open accounts with them. I did.

Don't be afraid of that shop in south Phoenix. They have a guard in the parking lot.

I've always liked Pinnacle Easy to deal with, straightforward shops, pay like clockwork!
I did one shop for them this week, and I have four scheduled next week. As previous stated, straightforward reports and pays like clockwork!
they only have one client in my area and the isntructions are SO involved...haven't "bitten" yet.
I'm about shopped out on them because of the 300 day rotation. Might be a few in Phoenix I haven't hit yet though.

I like them as well. The only client they have in my area (at least for the last three months) is a small chain of 5 banks. I have shopped them all, so can't do them again for quite a while. I wish they had more around here.
They have one chain of banks here, but have different types of shops: I started out doing several of the ones where you inquire about opening an account, then I did one where I actually did open it. Since then I have done the teller and phone inquiry shops. If you keep your account open, you can do the teller shops every six months, and they will cover your monthly fees in the interim. I think you can also do the inquiry shops again as long as it isn't a branch where they know that you already have an account. There are several branches in the area, and they are one of the few banks that I can sometimes shop after work or on weekends, so I am happy to pick them up when they are available.

So far I've done the one by the state capitol and this coming Wednesday I have the one out at ASU. Do they only have just this one shop in the Valley? I'm not asking as to specific clients, I'm just curious if this is the only client they have in Metro Phoenix - is this ? against ICA? If so, I will be glad to withdraw it.

Also, does this client have shops other than new account inquiry shops? I'd love it if they had teller and other shops too!

I just checked, and the client that I shop for them does not have any branches in Arizona. Sorry.

In Arizona, they only have the one client. I think I've done four or five of these in the valley, and some in Prescott, Flagstaff, and the one here where I live. Once you have accounts, they will assign you teller shops, but I've never seen them on the board. My scheduler just assigns them to me.

I've done the ASU one -- pretended I was returning to school to get my master's and wanted to use one of the banks on campus. The "office" is nothing but a cubicle off the hallway. Be prepared to stand while you talk to the "banker."

If you do the one on Monroe, approach it from the east. Driving through that neighborhood from the west was a bit nerve-wracking.

I like these too. There is also one in Cottonwood I have done. My rotation has almost passed and I will be able to do them all again. Decent pay, short report.
They are a great company to work with, one of my first and never had a problem.

They only had one bank shop client in my area and at that time you opened the account and then did teller interactions monthly or something like that. BUT, the bank account was not one I needed/used so there was a monthly fee. Pinnacle took care of the fee but I had to email them every month and tell them I got the fee charged to me. It got to be a hassle, just extra work that wasn't worth the time.

I am not sure if that changed or not. If it did, I might be willing to reopen my account.
I have been doing shops for them for several years and have never had a problem. I select the shops I want and enjoy doing them.
I like them a lot, but has anybody seen the Bank of the Big Box lately? They've been missing for at least a month if not longer.

There are reasons that a body stays in motion
At the moment only demons come to mind
How quick do they pay? Looking for shops that will pay at least within a month.
Are they only in the West Coast area? Or out West?
Looking for shops back East right now.
How much do their shops pay?
I've done nearly 100 bank shops before.
I like them better than the retail shops actually, for some reason.
We've had a credit union acct. before too.
Yeah much easier to deal with & much cheaper than the national banks too.
Thanks for letting us know OP.
