Re: International Service Check

They do NOT have a job board on their website. All jobs are offered by INVITATION ONLY, and are sent as a result of a zip code search. You can either respond to the scheduler [assuming you want to pursue that particular visit] or ignore the invitation. The sooner you respond, the better your chances of actually getting the shop; as there are many shoppers, but only several available shops per location. Their LUXURY SHOPS are MUCH HIGHER PAYING and are FUN TO DO! You just need to qualify through a brief telephone interview, then you are able to perform ANY of their LUXURY VISITS. It's well worth the time to do it!

chereeguitar, it appears you are now working for International Service Check. It is customary for anyone representing a MSC to have a signature line including the company name and their contact information.

With no signature line someone reading the post above may think it is an unbiased opinion when, in fact, you are promoting your employer.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Come on Lisa. I never expected you to use the word EMPLOYER when referring to an MSP. He/she might actually work for them but he/she doesn't actually say so.

Steve, Lisa is not identifying a shopper as an employee. Lisa is identifying chereeguitar as employed by ISC because she SCHEDULES for them. She has current posts on the forum's job board advertising jobs available with ISC. As a person who schedules for an ISC, she is not a shopper expressing an opinion, she is employed by them and should disclose that she is actually promoting her employer.
Her post was also double posted, here and on the other active thread about this MSC.

Steve, the OP actually did say she works for them. This is her post from the Job Board just 18 minutes prior to creating the glowing review above.

"MAY WE HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!! NEW POSTING!!! MALE AND FEMALE MYSTERY SHOPPERS NEEDED AGE 30-60 YEARS FOR PREMIUM AND LUXURY BRAND SHOPS [pays $35-$75+ each] Multiple visits available in some areas...We are looking for shoppers with a discerning eye who pays attention to detail. Interview must be completed prior to assignment of shop. Please contact me directly at C.Grant@internationalservicecheck.com so I can schedule the interview for you to qualify. Please include and name the area in which you are interested for all correspondence. Thank you in advance for your consideration and cooperation!"

Oui Oui Mon Cheree, what are u doin out here, are you not a recruiter for ISC, I thought this is for shoppers not recruiters
Recruiters and schedulers, and MSC administrators are all welcome AS LONG AS they identify themselves by using a permanent sig line that states the company, their position, and a company contact site/email/phone. That sig line will appear on EVERY post that they make.

This company is about deception and being vague. I would not shop for them anymore.
This is about as vague as you can get. Please elaborate on your concerns with this company.

I've shopped for them without deception or noticeable vagueness. But if you're having a failure to communicate, it might be best if you didn't shop for them anymore. That's entirely under our control.

If you're posting to try to warn others, mariuche, you need to explain what happened that made you say that. Few people here run from something just because someone else had a problem with them and that's all we know about it.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I recently did a luxury shop for International Servive Check. I did not encounter any communication issues and was paid on time. The shop was $45.00 and no editor issues either when it came to rating me. I'd totally do another one.
There are fees associated with having a job board and scheduling through it (it does not matter which system is used, they all charge as that is how they make their money). The more activities done through the site, the higher the fees charged to the MSC. I would rather deal directly with schedulers and get to make some of that money than see it on a blast job board...
