EPMS and Video Training Video

Hi, All! I have passed both the basic and video certification with EMPS. Somewhere it said that there was a video on video training. For the life of me, I can not find the link to the video anywhere on their web site. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

I am not on the forum on a daily basis so feel free to PM the answer to me or give me a heads up that you posted on the forum. Thanks again.

I just got off EPMS site after an email, and see the same shop, one for the usual 40.00 and the other for a video at 50.00.
I don't know about the training, but for 10.00, not for me. I'm sure you can email them and get video info.

Your standard shops are starting higher than a lot of areas where they are $25 and $30. Plus I find the reporting much easier when it is a video shop. Don't get me wrong, the report might be the same, I just don't feel compelled to write anymore than the barest of minimums because they have the film.

I have done 2 target shops for EPMS and asked for a bonus for 7 shops in Lake County FL that have been on the job board for 15 days. Repeated request (even though self assigned) resulted in a $4.00 bonus offer. However, if I have to buy my own equipment then it completely eats up the bonus. And if I use their equipment the charge is $5.00 per shop. This makes the equivelent of no bonus.

Yet emails continue and one scheduler said she had over 100 shops in several states that go without anyone applying for them.

Yes EPMS pays $30.00 per shop which is not a bad renumeration but the shops can have a lengthy form to complete. And with a video you really have to cover every aspect, which is our job, but leave out a sentence and questions arise.

The first 2 I did, I spent 3 days trying to get the target. Calls without a number I placed on that 1 and I had to call the local police department and request an extra patrol during the morning I was there due to the area the apartments were located. I drove 40 miles round trip on a Monday morning, hoping I would catch the target. I did get him that morning in a dirty clubhouse where I was observing the ammenties and was told the pool area was closed as it had to be shocked with chemicals because the kids over the weekend had used it as a toliet area! Needless to say I will go no further with that issue.

Then the apartment manager took me to a 'ready' apartment that was awful. Musty, mildew, spider webs, broken thermostats, stained carpet, appliances dated to the 1990's, dirty A/C filters ~ just awful! And he took another client with us to see the same apartment. This client was on a pink bike, from S. Miami and I felt very uncomfortable with 2 men in a closed area. I was thankful I had requested an extra patrol.

Fair compensation for a shop well done. Prompt , honest, reliable (no flakes), with consistent 9-10 ratings from my IC shops. I just do not get it.

I just do not understand why 1 shopper is offered a $20.00 bonus for 1 shop and an experience shopper with 9-10 rates can get nothing in return. It is very disappointing.

Today I received another email to take 3 within my zip code. I have not responded as it is basically the same pay of $30.00 that has been on the board for 15 days.

And so the shops sit; and there are 4 more within a very small radius. All 7 could be completed yet this week. But nothing is offered in return for the effort of completion.

Has anyone else had this experience? I am totally perplexed with this situation. Thus I have stayed with my seasoned companies and am as busy as makes me happy ~ but to pick these up would have been a feather in ones cap.

Perhaops someone can relate to this experience ~~ please let me know.

I have only gotten bonuses out of them a few times that were not already raised because of difficulty filling the job. To me it is not big deal. If they want to pay enough I'll take the shop, if they don't I won't. I don't understand the comment about with video you have to cover every aspect and leaving something out of the report. For my video reports if they ask for 450 characters, that is what they get. So far none have been returned.

I have it on good authority, that the owner of the MSC does NOT intend to pay a bonus or travel. Hw/she leave the schedulers little or no room for negotiation.

Maybe these are not the shops for you?

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I see bonuses here, infrequently - $5, and less frequently $10. I think bonuses have more to do with due dates and locations than anything. If the posted fee and location doesn't work for me, I ignore.
