Has anyone had an issue with this company? I'll apply for jobs that have sat there for weeks and are marked as available then the following day they disappear from my "Applied to" list (and I assume end up being assigned to someone else). I feel like I'll never get a shop with this company even though there are over 700 shops available for my city alone!

I'm a big fan of this MSC. However, I've also experienced what you describe on occasion. I just recently had a bank shop request sit there for a long time. I then applied to another and it was approved overnight. Have you asked their chat support, or even Sheralee, a great scheduler I talk to a lot?

I e-mailed her and never received a response. I imagine she is busy and figured at the time she would just respond when she was able to. I've applied to over 100 bank shops and a few eye exam shops since July and they all end up having me listed as a Backup Shopper. While it certainly isn't impossible that someone has applied to the same 100+ shops I have, I just wish I could get one job.

I will try talking to their chat support though and see if that gets me anywhere, thanks again!

I like this company. They only have the occasional shop where I live. I find the bank reports VERY difficult, but as I mentioned on another thread, they get bonused out in the small towns so I do them.

If any of those bonused ones are close enough to you, that could be a way to get started with them.

I don't drive but my in-laws live in the country so I may wait and see if any of those get left. Thank you for the suggestion!

Interesting Prince. I find the "green bank" reports quite simple. There are one or two questions I don't like, but overall quick and easy.

Then Mike, your writing or attention to detail, or both, is far above mine.

I did wish some of the Teller shops had been out in my area this round because at least the on site part is so easy.

Dixie, have you completed all of the bank certifications? That may be the problem. They have a ton of shops in my area and they are one of my favourite companies. Tomorrow I'm doing my eighth bank shop for the week. I generally get everything that I apply for, but maybe I am the only shopper in my area.

Use the Live Chat function, or try emailing Kent if Sheralee isn't responding. He replies quite promptly.

I wouldn't say that their reports are the easiest as they are all narratives for the most part, but once you have done a couple they get easier and you can get through them relatively quickly.

I completed all of them.

I e-mailed Kent and all he said to do was request the TD shops which only state you can do them if you have a chequing/savings account with them (of the ones that are left) and I only have a credit product with them. It's clear no one has been assigned the shops I requested, they have even bonused the shop now from $13 to $18.99.

I also e-mailed Sheralee last week and today with no response. I'm done with the company at this point. I really shouldn't have to e-mail begging for a shop that is out of my way but happens to be the few left that are in my area (but still out of the way).

Sorry if I sound negative but I am really big about professionalism and the only response I got from this company so far was from Kent with a bunch of ...... after his sentences. I run a business myself aside from MS and I just can't wrap my head around some of the things going on with their site. It just seems like they don't communicate with each other.

I agree, I wasted so much time taking tests for the fast food and the familiy fun place, applied several times to many locations and never received a shop. Yet, years ago I used to do the bank shops and I did 100s of them, for them and for several companies over 5 yrs. After that run of shops, I was all banked out, I knew many of the tellers and staff and did not want to keep doing the same shops and branched out. (no pun intended) So when I saw new shops on board, I was excited...then not..so I give up and just delete them now.
