Marketforce New Grocery Client

As much negative publicity I see about Marketforce on here, I woke up today to a little treat: my favorite grocery store, which was previously shopped by ****** and subsequently *********, is showing up on their job board. Better yet, the fee is better at $8 + $10 reimbursement.

For some reason, with *********, the locations in my county NEVER showed up on the job board for me, but they are there on Marketforce. Four locations within walking/biking distance of my house that never showed up on the job board at the old company are available now, and I'm giddy!

So far none of those have shown up in my area under Marketforce. Personally I'm not thrilled about Marketforce practices in general and hope my favorite supermarket doesn't end up with them.
i still see all of them under *******. Are you sure its not just a
competitor shop as part of the annual grocery survey

I am not seeing dates beyond August on the ******* board...on the MF board the dates start in September and go throughout the month.

Well, $8 about covers the time and costs involved with printing out the shop instructions, not a bad start smiling smiley
It will be harder to self-assign these than with the old msc, as they posted the entire month of September. I can't group my shops under this new system and you have to pick specific dates, whereas the old msc is Mon-Thurs.

Why would I print the instructions? It's the same shop, new company. I can do it in my sleep. Plus I can bike to each location - no overhead. Daily exercise, $24/hour equivalent fee, $54/hour including reimbursement. 3% cashback on my credit card. Who's complaining?

they have one place one block away from my residense but but instead constantly offer me one shop 36 miles overall trip...and explain that that I was very frequient in shop that a block away...but the one I did in 36 miles away..I was there a dosen times for last couple years and only a few time in place near me...

How do you figure $54 an hour?

15 minutes in store, 5 minutes report time = 20 minutes, or 1/3 of an hour. $18 per shop ($8 fee and $10 free food) x 3 =$54.00

And do you teleport between each location to be able
to do 3 an hour with no travel time?

Yes.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, it is "one hour equivalent." I try to exercise 60 minutes a day. Since I also said I would ride my bike there for the exercise, I wasn't including the travel time. If I were including travel time, the three locations are within one mile of each other, so maybe 10 minutes on top of the one hour.

Glad you pointed that out... I had not looked over the guidelines. Guess my $54/hour won't work now. Who spends 30 minutes buying $10 worth of groceries?

Those people that get hundreds of dollars a month in food stamps would laugh for hours if they knew stupid fools like me go up to the store and spend a half hour looking around and then go home and spend another 20 minutes writing up a report just so I can get 10 dollars and 7 or 8 dollars worth of free food! I must be crazy stupid. And how fair is it that we are not even paid enough for these shops to go back to the meat department and buy 1 of those huge t-bones they sell. Sometimes when I do these shops I think about these things!
Checked MF and did not see any newly listed grocery shops. Darn

Evaluating and mailing packages since 1994
It's not visible to all shoppers. The quiz mentioned getting names, luckily the guideline read no names/descriptions.

techman01, I don't think they are new shops. They are not picked up shops with an absolute deadline of Sept. 3rd. leftover from August.

Release date list shows last round released August 20 so these
are probably the rest of those as you said. We will see what happens
with the next round with them

I hated the way the other co. scheduled. But ****** in FL is my favorite grocery store and there are 5 within about a 20 mile stretch on the road near where I work. And MF deactivated me about 2 years ago, for "they don't have to tell me why" after 10 years of faithful, reliable service (yeah, they still want me to do the crappy theatre checks). . . . oh well. . . .
I have six shops with the "old" company. Performed two of them last night. I'm not sure what is going on. Maybe MF is doing a few rounds of shops in certain areas to try to lure the client to switch over to their company. I have never performed a shop for MF so I don't see the FL grocery chain listed. But I am registered with them.

I'm doing my first one tonight for the new company. I never did one with the old company.

MShopping is not limited to "crazy stupid fools". MS can use food stamps because they are allowed to purchase the same food. You do not need to pay for everything with cash dollar bills.
I don't like the new msc's time frame of 4:15-6:45. I lose 30 minutes of travel time, during rush hour traffic.

They shortened up the fast food shop like that too when they took it over from Gapbuster. I still don't like it.

Why aren't you leaving at least an hour before the due time. There must be a least other businesses to keep you occupied before your shop times. You know you are taking a shop during "rush hour" traffic. It not the MSC fault that the time frame has change. Time frame is usually the Client call.

What? You haven't done these before, have you?
What you wrote does not make any sense whatsoever.
In this case, it is the msc who have changed the time frame. They are leaving themselves leeway, in case shoppers run late, or enter the store too early. The old, yet current msc gives us the benefit of the doubt that we can do our job and shop times are 4-7pm. If you know this job, then you would know that I am not talking about one store, but traveling time between multiple stores. Please do not comment, if you have no clue.

The cubbiecat has spoken. ;-)

I get it. I am lucky to be able to fit two of those shops within the three hour time frame. The traffic here is a b*tch and it will only get worse once the snowbirds get here.
