Customer Impact Legitimate?

I am signed up with this company and have been offered a GREAT shop, but it will require a fairly heavy output and reimbursement so I want to make sure they are on the up and up before I accept. Anybody shop with them?

Do a search for Customer Impact, putting in "all dates," and you will be able to read details about them. Great company. Be careful to read the directions and follow them exactly. Read their sample narratives and be sure to cover that information in your narratives. They tell you exactly what they want. Explain all "no" answers.
...and if the job in question requires sending any money or receiving a cashier's check, it's a scammer pretending to be from Customer Impact.

Llamm, when you do a search you have to select "all dates," otherwise it will pull up only the last 30 day
Just personally I probably would not do a first shop for a company I wasn't experienced with that involved a heavy output and reimbursement. I don't know the company, I don't know what their editors are like. I don't know how reliable they are. I would start with something a bit smaller from them first.
I have done several shops for this company, including one where I had to purchase something and send it. No problems at all, ever. For me, they've always been great. However, as Steve said, make sure it's really Customer Impact! Lots of scammers "borrow" the names of legitimate companies.
While Customer Impact may have a good reputation one restaurant is no longer in business because they meddled with several reports and did not allow a client to be aware there was a major issue that got worse with each subsequent evaluation of that location that I made.
I do hope a story is coming after that lead in..

I have never had an issue with Customer Impact. I would love to do more of their fine dining shops but never get picked. I'm not sure how their selection criteria works. I have done 16 shops: 1 rating 8, 4 rating 9, and 11 rating 10.
The poster meant not picked for FD. I was lucky and was given a FD shop as a first shop. They are fantastic, I like their scheduler and editors.

I did my first shop for them last week at a local casual dining chain. Wish they had more in my area, I've only seen 3 different restaurants in my area. I was pretty excited that my shop got a glowing review!

I did a shop for them last month that required me to spend about $400. I took a chance to begin building my reputation as a mystery shopper and I am waiting for them to send payment. I was hoping to see something in my paypal today but so far nothing. Does this mean they won't pay until the 25th?

My last payment from them came on the 26th, but all of may payments have always been received somewhere between the 20th-26th.

If your shop is marked as complete, rest assured that you will get paid.
I love that company. I always am on the lookout for their fine dining shops. There is one particular restaurant in my area that I can't afford to visit on a regular basis so I jump for joy when I get the opportunity to do an evaluation there!
I have a yummy shop for them on Thursday! Can't wait. How are they with rescheduling? I picked a date at random, and Thursday is no problem, but I'm anxious and kinda want to do it earlier.

I haven't ever rescheduled but ask the scheduler. I bet it's no problem.

Generally, rescheduling to do earlier is less issue than later. The former doesn't increase the risk the shop won't make it to the client by the deadline.

What do you mean "you can't afford to visit on a regular basis". You are a mystery shopper reading this forum and that means unless your name is "Freelancereporter" you are making bookoo bucks mystery shopping. If your not driving a new 2013 Tahoe and vacationing at the finest 5 star resorts then you are not listening to the posters in this forum enough.
