Lisa,

Did you have any QC issues with their video editor(s)? I submitted some shops that were rejected due to "unacceptable audio". Using the same equipment and getting the same quality video/audio results, I've submitted hundreds of shops to other MSCs with no issues ever before.
I did not have that issue, but there were some other shoppers whose audio was borderline. Are you saying some of yours were accepted and some not? And if some were rejected did they indicate there were audio problems prior to you completing all the shops? If the audio seems to be the same for all of them and only a few were rejected it is time to contact someone and find out what is up.

They were all rejected. There is a little bit of a hissing sound in the background but not so much as to make what is being said unitelligible. I went back and checked vids for recent shops I've performed for other companies and they all have the negligible (IMO) hiss but none of the other companies had issues with my submissions. Thanks for responding.
They had issues with some of my audio when I did almost 40 shops for them, with about 5 being in dispute. Turns out that their editing protocols/programs don't play nicely with pre-2011 PV-500 audio. I have done thousands of shops with that very rig for many other MSCs and really had to get very shirty with their QC folks to make them reexamine their decision. In my case it was not hissing; they said that the audio was too low. I had an independent editor examine a clip from the same audios and she said that it was so lud that it nearly blew off her headphones! So, go figure.

walesmaven,

Thanks for sharing your experience with me. I was wondering just what the heck is going on with these guys beause no other MSC has ever had any issues with any of my recordings.
