Been trying to contact Scheduler..Shop seems to be rejected...

I did a shop for one company. I won't name them, but will say they've been heavily discussed on the board. I was entering the report and went to save it for later, because I needed clarification on what I should do with some sections from the scheduler. The scheduler got back to me, but the report had been submitted incomplete. Instead of Incomplete, it said Received. I told the scheduler, and the scheduler put it back into my account yesterday. I started working on it, but saved it because I had to take my son to the doctor. When I returned home later in the evening, I went to complete it. Again, it said Submitted. It looks like the shop has been rejected because there is no amount listed for the fee, and it was scored the lowest possible mark. I emailed the Scheduler and explained again what occurred, but I have not heard from the Scheduler.

I am committed to the assignment and submitting as much a report as I can (the location was closed). I've been in touch with the Scheduler over this assignment. However, since it wasn't graded by an actual Proofreader, I don't know who else to contact. This company does not reply to emails from Shoppers. Any ideas on what I should do next? Should I email the Proofreaders I've worked on with this client in the past, perhaps because maybe one of them might have been assigned to my shop? I'm very disappointed with how the situation unfolded. I care about my reputation very much, and really want to do everything I can for the MSC and the client. Thanks in advance for letting me vent...and for your thoughts!

What company are you talking about? I've had a Sassie report "taken" once after I saved it. It's the end of the month and the MSC is probably anxious to get the report in and edited. Hopefully your scheduler will put it back. I would try and call them to get it straightened out and then complete it ASAP.

This company does not have a phone number for shoppers to call. Rather, they have a "Contact Us" form for on their website that when you submit them a message, it returns and says that they might not get back to you. I am not naming them in fear of retribution, but I will say that there's been a lot of discussion about them, and a lot of it is negative...
It would be helpful to know who it is.. there are a lot of MSC talked about on here in a not-so-pleasant way. I would try to find out other e-mail addresses for schedulers or someone from the company that you could e-mail if you don't get a response from your scheduler.

It isn't necessary to name...many, probably even you, have complained about them at one point or another. I enjoy working for them, and like these types of shops. But, I'm really at a loss because this has never happened before.

Did you take a phone of the closed location? Typically, if a place is closed, you have to submit a photo showing where the location should be. Did the company require you to call first and verify hours?

Without knowing who the MS company is, it is hard to answer your question on how to handle the situation (i.e. who to contact). I would not think the scheduler would be the person to contact. I would think it would be the help desk or quality control.
well you don't wanna name the company how can people give you a straight answer? we all screw up once in a while...i just did on sat.....
Stick to it, you do NOT need to name the company and even better not to name them.
You asked a very valid question.

Further down you say you don't want to name the company for fear of retribution...really you haven't said one thing negative in your posts. You need a contact name or number or you need a shopper who has had this situation happen with this specific company to get real help here. I can't imagine why you wouldn't name the company in this particular instance.

Hope I'm not offending anyone but if you have a complaint about a company and you are stuck.. typing about it here and NOT naming the company helps no one - not you, not the newbie, no one.

About Intellishop - in my experience with them, I always have had a fast response. Their phone number and fax is listed usually in all their signatures:

1-877.894.6349
1-866.234.1423
Fax: 419-931-8043

The toll free number was answered and is in service.

Look at that.. if you didn't name the company, you wouldn't get this info! Hope that helps!

Many companies make it hard to get a phone number, but it doesn't mean there are not several. Dixie and Liz were right on. Naming a company will give you a better chance of getting that all important contact information. Meanwhile all you commented on was an apparent system glitch or somebody jumping the gun because it is the end of the month. Certainly not a rant or slam.
