Reality Check

Do they ever let you auto assign shops? I recently signed up with them and have applied for 2 different shops, both of which were assigned to another shopper. I did choose a different location for one of them, so I will be doing my first shop with them this weekend.

Okay thanks for the info. So do you just have to do a few shops for them before they allow you to auto assign?
I cannot find where to sign up with them. The "Become a Mystery Shopper" tab only shows a page where it ask you to purchase a mystery shopping book. Does anyone know the link to their sign-up page?
It's a test. If you can't find it, you fail.

It says "Please follow this link to sign-up as a shopper on our secure Mystery Shopper site:" Please follow this link to sign-up as a shopper on our secure Mystery Shopper site: " Right next to that, there is a Sassie link. Click on it.
Many, many grocery shops in the midwest. I just did five today, and will be up for quite a while as the reports are kinda long.
One of my favorites.

But so far as I know, you can't ever self-assign. I've been shopping with them for three years this month (or next?) and have done over 160 shops with an average rating of, and still can't self-assign.

So I think it's just not their thing. smiling smiley

I've done quite a few grocery shops for Reality Check in the past several weeks. They haven't had much in my area before, so I have never shopped for them before. We're getting close to 60 days since the first six were done. Does it normally take 60 days to get paid? Their site states 30-60.
I always get paid at the very end of the month after the shops are completed... for instance, I'm expecting the pay for my October shops at the very end of November... probably the 29th. Once they paid right at midnight of the 31st of a month! But always on time.

But yes, by the time I get paid, some of my October shops will be almost 60 days out.

Thanks! That helps me with budgeting, since I start working on the household budgets a few months out when payments are anticipated. I can continue to anticipate nine grocery shops from October for December's budget and nine for January's. I normally don't do more than one or two shops for any given company until I know how (and if) they pay, to avoid a Freeman-type situation, but Reality Check has been well spoken of by shoppers on this forum.
I like them! And I love two of the grocery shops, and the pub shops (but don't often get those in my home town).

I like working with the scheduler (don't know if she's just my area or not), and I like the reliable timely pay.

I just don't like that my favorite shops have gone to 90 day rotations! That makes me (grrrrr). smiling smiley

Reality Check is awesome! I haven't been able to self-assign, but I usually get the shops I apply for.

There is nothing listed in Indiana at all. However, there is a large list of them in Illinois. Maybe the clients' locations will expand hopefully!

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
Ooodles and oodles in Iowa where they are based. They've expanded into Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Illinois so I wouldn't be surprised if they expanded eastward.
They're based in Iowa? Here I thought they were in the Seattle area for some reason. Maybe just my scheduler is. smiling smiley
