I have been watching 6 shops since the beginning of the month. I like to do a route in the direction of these shops sometimes and they are nice...easy cause there are always clean only 4-6 pumps, "bonus" to pick up along one of the ways. (When I do this route, I make a circle, so I do shops the whole way around. )

All of them were assigned the first week, and I snap my fingers and say....OH well, should of gotten on line earlier. Then as the month goes by I see the date change several times. I called the scheduler on Friday and explained that I would be driving by these shops and that there in the middle of 2 cities, and in the past someone who was traveling from one city to the other would pick them up. (probably an easy 150 miles from either city).
Anyways I told the scheduler that if the shopper didn't think he/she could do them I would get them and would be there Friday afternoon....just let me know. (there are have times when no one has shopped them for 2 months straight.)
I was told the shopper promised to do them, so I wasn't needed. Again, snap my fingers and say Aww man.

Friday evening, I notice the date has now been changed to the 22nd...same pay as beginning of the month so I know they haven't gone back on the board...same shopper has them. I then get an email Saturday afternoon asking me if I wanted to do 2 of them.....Grrrrrr REALLY!?!?!!

Then I go on there this afternoon and they are ALL on there!!!! BIG BONUS now...40.00 EACH and there are 6 of them!!!

This is SOOOOOO frustrating......I like the fact we get date changes BUT really this one shopper has had them almost ALL month and now dumps them.

I say "same shopper" because the pay rate has NEVER changed till today....went from $18-20 each to EACH 40.00!!! A shop that goes back on the board after been taken for so long will usually increase a little when dumped. This is the reason I believe the same shopper held on to them all month.

Don't complain, you're getting them for 2x what you would have if you had grabbed them at the beginning of the month, lol.

BUT I cant ....when I do the route I make a circle and have already passed them.....to double back would not be worth it. I am probably 200 miles away! (

That is $240. Is that 200 miles one way or round trip? Could you pick up any other bonus shops to return?

Unfortantly they are in between Houston and Dallas and it is a 5 hour drive ONE way!!!

I am already on my way to another city in the wrong direction.....I have been looking to do other shops from other companies to due maybe when I finish but being the end of the month and this being a "boonie" area....Kinda hard to find something.

I might just make arrangements and do them on the 1st cause I know I can get some route shops from another company to make a quick round trip.

Not that it gets you the shops, but I'm pretty sure that when flaked shops go back on the Cori board, they go back on at the price they came off. Another shopper can grab them at that price, on that day. If that second shopper flakes, they go back on the board still at the same price the same day. On it can go like that until they sit overnight, and that's when the retro-bonuses kick in with the huge jump in price. From your description, it sounds like there were two or more flaking shoppers involved.

In the same vein; this month (October), I see many of the CoRi shops have turned into quarterly shops. They just sit there, not bonusing even at this late date (10/24).
But, those same shops are already up for November, back to their regular monthly shop. I'll agree that there are some shops on the board that are new and quarterly, but I don't get it.
I guess it will be fun to see what happens when Nov 1 rolls around.

Ok...maybe this is a silly question to some of you, is CORI an acronym you guys are using for Corporate Research Int'l? Or is it a different company you are referring to?
