Cirrus Marketing finally paid me...after 6 months

Four emails to customer service inquiring about payment and no reply, so I got fed up and called them to put the fire to their feet. They paid me the $90 the next day. The shop was BRUTAL and took me three hours to complete and another hour for the writeup. I was so turned off that I haven't done any since May. I guess I'll get busy again for the fall/winter.

I had to chase a $65 payment so long (5-1/2 months) so hard (3 calls, 6 emails) and so diligently that I deactivated myself from them 10 minutes after I finally received my payment.

I've never regretted that decision.
Sounds like you shopped the Big Box Store, Wabbit. I've noticed Cirrus can't find many to do them anymore. Brutal shop and then s-l-o-w pay. Well, it's just not a good combination!
I had to make multiple phone calls also and was wondering why, on the final phone call, I FINALLY got paid later that day. I think it was because I got the full name of the person handling payments, including spelling her name, and what her general title is. It's like they have to think you are at the point of reporting them before they finally pay you (I was never told my invoice was lost or receive any sort of apology or explanation for why it took several months to get paid).

That PITA shop, by the way, I noticed is now paying $50. It wasn't worth it at $65 so I don't know why anyone would take it for $50. They must be counting on new shoppers to fall for them (I know I did).
I have said this before--the PITA shop here only pays $45 and people actually take it. I assume they haven't read this forum.
I finally got paid for a shop 6 months ago, after 4 e-mails with the last one threataning to go to the BBB and MSPA. I was paid within 12 hours of the e-mail. I am now deactivating my account with Cirrus.
I haven't sent in the two invoices for the only shops I've done for them yet. I was annoyed after realizing this is their practice, which I didn't notice right away. I don't like the extra work of having to use my printer and scanner and filling out forms and emailing them just to get paid. They get paid after they use your report and should just pay you based on your profile/PayPal with an automatic invoice like most other MS companies do. I'll keep track of how long it takes to get paid and wait to do any other shops for them based on the experiences noted above.
I was told after calling them more than once that an invoice is no longer required. (That's after I had submitted it more than once, saved an e copy and forwarded it in an email to the payment email, and generally harassed them with it.) I, too, only got paid for this nasty shop after multiple emails and phone calls....the latter using names and suggesting that I would follow up with the appropriate outlets unless I got paid quickly. It took 6 months to get the pay for that one shop. Never again.
I'm impressed the write up only took an hour!

I know for me, I did it in my first month of shopping. I thought I was doing something wrong by the time I spent all the next day writing my report.

I just found this forum by accident a few weeks ago. Had I seen this back then, I never would've taken that shop.
