Intouch?

I have waited to post anything on this site with hopes they would rectify. I applied for a shop and was excepted. I completed the shop the day and time it was to be done. When I went to complete the survey, it was gone on my apps. Poof! I have emailed, made phone calls asking to let me in to complete the shop. No response. I have done many ,many successful jobs for Intouch.

Okay. So here I am. I have completed the shop and spent $6.oo of my own money on a sandwich I would not normally buy, along with a drink that is not my style. The shop was close to home so, 15.00 for a short survey was good for me.

I am out over twenty dollars! If I had done something wrong, surely I would have received correspondence.

I have enjoyed working for them.

It sounds like a system glitch, having nothing to do with you. Fingers crossed, as you wait to see.
Weird. I don't know where you are from but my territory manager always picks up the phone when you phone her extension. It's scary to hear the second story now where a shop has disappeared from this MSC. I really love them because they pay on time, direct deposit and their shops are so freaking easy.

How are you out $20 if you only spent $6? Do you mean you are out the survey fee? I'm sure it will work out, give them some time to respond by e-mail or keep phoning your manager. Intouch is a really, really awesome company to do contract work for. I am sure they will take care of you.

PLEASE READ THE UPDATE BELOW!!!
I am BRAND NEW at this and had an issue with ITC as well, for my very first shop, I got the "running out of time" e-mail and had taken one kind of out of my way because I was headed to that town on the day it was due. I did the shop at 9 in the morning-ish and when I got home that afternoon to enter it, the due date had changed and I wasn't able to enter it. Turns out a representative at the company had made a mistake in entry and corrected it as soon as she realized it, but I had already spent the money (albeit not much, but still) at a place I wouldn't normally have gone. I've got an e-mail in to my field rep to ask how to get reimbursed for the purchase (not, of course, the fee - I understand that part of it). What do you think my chances are? Does this kind of thing happen often to shoppers? My husband is leery enough about me doing this, and I'm trying to show him it's a legit way for me to make a little "mad money" for the family. Not starting on the right foot with him! smiling smiley

UPDATE!!! They reimbursed me for the trouble and got back to me within an hour of my e-mail! I am feeling better... I will say, the e-mail I sent asking for reimbursement was not a nasty-gram, just stated the facts including times of the e-mails, time of my shop, etc. and why I'd like to be reimbursed - This was a GREAT lesson for me in meticulous record-keeping and keeping my cool when contacting the companies!

Great start! You did good. It's best to stay cool and assume they will make it right when presented with the story.
Gisby, way to go!!!!

Never had a problem with them.

Easy shops and easy reports.
I just wish they had more clients in my area.
