Market Force Reports

Last week, I performed my first shop for Market Force - an investment shop. I have not heard a peep about the report, whether it was good, bad or otherwise. Is this standard practice for Market Force? The meeting lasted 90 minutes and it took me hours to complete the report because of extensive narratives.

Also, I would like suggestions as to how to explain the "No" answers that are self-explanatory, such as: Did the representative ask if you had children? In my case, the answer would be "No." Do I simply say in the narrative that I was not asked if I had children? I struggle with how to explain why I answered "No" to a question. Some of the questions are just plain silly.

Hello, rsglenn. In mystery shopping, there is no such thing as a self explanatory "no" answer. OK, let's say the Q was "did the representative ask if you had children" and you answered "no". The explanation for your "no" answer would be: The representative did not ask if I had children." They want a statement to back up the "no" answer. It makes sense to them. It's like checking your math. Two plus two equals four. Four minus two equals two. Same deal.

Thanks, MDavisnowell, I have been explaining the "no" answers as you suggested. I guess I needed a seasoned shopper's opinion.

I think if you haven't heard from them then that is a good sign. Market Force are pretty quick to follow up if there's a problem.
Whew! Good to know that no news is good news. The report was long and tedious. I was careful to include everything they asked for and crossed my fingers when I submitted the report. Thanks to all of you for responding.

rsglenn, I struggled with the no answers in the beginning. No means no! I have gotten used to it.
I'm pretty new to shopping and have completed a little more than 20 Market Force shops. I have only heard from them one time when I input the time as 3:27 and not 3:17. I checked my notes and apologized profusely and didn't anything more from them. I received my first nice BIG check from them right on time. So as has been said - no news is good news.
For 'no's' i suggest to just re iterate (ie: no, that employee did not ask me if I had children."

i've had a few issues, but normally, it's pretty straightforward. prob's re: timing a few times. love the bonus shops! Checks on time...even offered huge bonuses on certain fast food places on the wknds.
Does Market Force give positive feedback? I do not like having to answer 'no' to every question in a section. Fortunately, I haven't had a report rejected yet, so I guess I am doing something right.

As far as explaining any no's, it does feel silly sometimes but I see it as- they also probably want to make sure you didn't accidentally click the wrong bubble. With an explanation they would know for sure it is correct.
SoCalMama,

It was a long report with extensive narratives. I also had to explain the 'yes' answers.

While the lion's share of MF assignments and reports are short and sweet, occasionally they will offer more in depth shops. I was involved with a big insurance comparison several years ago and that report had extensive narratives. The assignment also paid in the triple digits. In theory that sounds better than it was since it was the equivalent of three shops.

I agree with LisaSTL, all of the MF reports that I have done have been pretty straightforward. If the report paid that much, it was an exception. Good for you to get one that paid so much.
I find most reports easy and though some may be time consuming, the short ones make up for it.
Does anybody have a scheduler email for them? I searched the website to no avail. I accepted "an easy web shop" and things on the screen do not have the options come up as they should. I live in Southern California if that helps. Thanks.

You have to click on the "Email Help Desk". It doesn't say "scheduler", just "Help Desk". But you can then pick which job you're emailing about.
