Can't apply for available RSG jobs

I recently made an account with RSG and there are a bunch of public transportation shops available in my area. I need pre-approval in order to do these shops, but there are no tests listed on my main page. The shop application states that if I'm interested but don't have the approval, I should apply anyway and start the approval process that way. I've applied for at least 5 of these shops, but never hear back from them. There is no email address listed, so I don't know who to email directly to ask about the approval process. Do you all have any suggestions for how to continue on?

MSmichele,
If thse are in the Washington, DC area, you will need a criminal background check and in-person training. It is a lengthy process and you most certainly will not be assigned any shops without the background check, which they will pay for. I think that they wil lwait until they have enough applicants to form a training class to proceed, but YMMV.

Hello I am so sorry that you have not been contacted by anyone to get the process going. If you want to email me directly I would be more than happy to get you started on the approval process so we can get you shopping! smiling smiley

Got the oops no bonus on the shops email today. Sorry. These are the same ones where the time will be revealed AFTER you accept the shop. Come on schedulers.......
You mean they are not even giving you the allowed time frame to shop until after you are assigned? Are these shops with a restrictive window of just a few hours?

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Jessica, someone finally did get back to me with the necessary forms. I can't speak to all RSG shops, but the ones I was looking at did at least have the times in the assignment.
That is exactly the way they are assigned. It is a 4 hour window but not shown until after you accept.
Not a good thing for us making schedules. 10-2 is a big difference from 4-8 pm if you are driving.

Absolutely. I never knowingly schedule myself to get caught in traffic or be forced to be out after dark during the winter months. I actually saw several of those shops and was considering some. That won't be happening now. Thanks.
