I've reached my boilling point with Bare & their shipping shops....

I've done many of these, for several years. The most recent one I did was Nov. 26th. Today (SIXTEEN DAYS LATER!!) I get an email asking for more information, such as what time I entered the line, was there a customer in front of me, how long I waited, and more info on the transaction.

Huh? I put all of this in my original report. Heck, the Sassie program won't let you submit the report if there are items that haven't been filled in. I think it's b.s. that it's taken them 16 days to request this already-given information. Even with the Thanksgiving holiday, it should not take 16 days to request information. I do shops everyday, I'm lucky if I remember what I did two days ago, let alone 16!

Very frustrating indeed. Bare is not the only one to do this though. I was asked 3 weeks later for information from CORI. iI asked why it took 3 weeks for them to ask for clarification. They blamed it on the client. Luckily I remembered the interaction and was able to give them the information.
Yes, I just received a notice from CoRI for a clarification on a shop, it has been a month. But the client just now needs clarification. I had to pull up my pictures to remember what was wrong. Oh, yes, I remember the cashier couldn't stop talking long enough to take care of me or give me my change.

But, this is why we are supposed to keep our records longer than until the report is submitted. We are supposed to print the report and write it all in (most don't say to do this, but to keep most accurate records this would be the correct way to handle this or print a finished report for you personal records).

I do it too, I think a lot of us do but were not supposed to. Naughty list it is!
Sounds like the location you visited is challenging your report. Now Bare will compare the info they requested with the original Sassie report. Since we can not pull up and look at old Sassie reports, unless you have very good notes, or a print out of your report, you risk providing info that doesn't agree with the original report. BTW your subject line may violate the ICA. We usually refer to these shops as "shipping locations".
I *always* print-to-PDF each and every finished report. At least I have in the last couple years... it didn't dawn on me immediately. smiling smiley

You can do this with the BARE shipping shop reports, even though they don't have that "save a pdf of this report" button that most Sassie shops have ~ because actually that isn't Sassie, it's something else (can't remember what they call it right now) that's very similar. But it does have a different name while functioning basically the same.

Anyway... before you hit "submit", just print to PDF. Then submit. Then you have a copy of each report!

You can do this with other shop reports that don't have a convenient saving button, too. Like MF, for instance.

I always, always print a copy of every shop report to an XPS file or PDF before submitting it. I save the copy in the folder where I keep my electronic copy of the receipts, photos, notes and whatever else I needed or created for the shop. That way, if there ever should be an issue with the shop, at least I know what I submitted on the original report and can read the narrative again if I need to, and I have easy access to anything else I collected for the shop as well. Hard drive space is cheap, so I keep it all forever, just in case.

Hope you were able to get your information together for that shop, anyway.
Yep, it's all resolved. Thank goodness. Just bugs me that it takes so long to hear if they need additional (or, in this case, already-provided) info.

I am new at this, but that is what I have been doing, along saving the hard copy of the surveys I fill out soon after leaving the store. I use Cute PDF Writer to make the report webpage into a PDF before submitting.

Still, I can understand how it would be annoying to have to answer questions weeks later.

I wont do any more for them they are crazy and rude!
ishopalot: you have made the same comment about Bare on a few threads now. Why don't you just change your name to ishopalotbutnotforbare, then you won't have to waste so much time on multiple posts.
What about if he just changes his name to ishopalotbutnotforanybodyyouknow? That should cover his program.

ishop, it might be helpful for those seeking advice about Bare if you'd explain "why" you despise the company so much.... Hard to get credibility when you give broad statements without any specifics to back them up!
