GFK not paying like they are suppose to for Holidays

Just a heads up that GFK is not paying according to their
"Super Fast Holiday Pay" schedule they keep touting and promoting.

According to them, only certain clients are not being paid on time but
they don't know why as of a few hours ago when I spoke to them
about it nor did they have an eta on when their payment issues
would be resolved for these select clients.

I guess I am lucky, all the shops I have done for them in the past 2 weeks have already paid out. I have only done cell phone shops though.
I got paid for my GFK shops in 3 days. Hope things get better for you in regards to payment. GFK seems like a decent MSC and I love wings... lol

It doesnt really bother me since I only do the occasional shop
for them here and there...it's the people who are doing routes
for the clients that are affected that are SOL.

I did one of their circuits. Completed it on Monday and was paid on Friday of the same week....
I did a shop last week and haven't been paid. The email I received said they were paying twice a week.
I completed a few <edited fir ICA Violation> shops last week and this week. I have not been paid for any of them. I was basically begged to pick them up and told I would be paid in five days. One of them was 12 days ago! Now I cannot get a hold of anyone at GFK. I am beyond frustrated.

How did you get in contact with them about payment? I am getting more frustrated bythe minute.
techman01, I'm not sure who told you that they did not know why the payments were not going out on the one client (you completed your shops for that one), but my apologies they did not communicate with you about it. It was because a group of shops were not finalized until December 12th. Our payments are all based on finalized dates and not shopped dates. Unfortunately I cannot release the reason for those shops being finalized at a different date. I have talked with a lot of shoppers about the issue and so I figured it was already well known on the boards. My apologies for not checking in and making sure that it was. -- that was poor follow through and I deserve a "1" and a lump of coal on that one. However, as you can see above, all other shops on all other projects have been running on time and paid out. The gentleman who does our payments is working on a payment file tonight that he will send to PayPal in the morning. Unfortunately PayPal seems to be paying a little slower this year and it may be Monday before these payments hit your accounts. If you login to our site right now, it will say "Payment Pending" on any shops that are going to get paid in this batch.

Just so everyone knows, when we pull the Payment file from Sassie, your shops switch over to "Payment Pending". It takes a day to process that file, so the next day we send it over to PayPal. PayPal either pays it that day or the next business day (I wish I had any rhyme or reason on this. We can send it to them 52 times a year at the same exact time on the same exact day of the week and they will pay it out at a different time and sometime day every single time.).

Sorry there was so much confusion over this and I did not see these posts earlier. While I like this site, I often find it hard to keep track of things here. Also, I know I am sometimes hard to reach (anyone want to sort through 600 emails a day? smiling smiley ), but after five years I finally have an assistant and we will be getting her ready to take over some of my "receiving phone calls" responsibilities in 2014 so that should help as well. I am clicking the box to get replies to this topic (that doesn't always seem to work though does it?), so hopefully I will be able to keep track of responses here.

Please all, let me know if your site said Payment pending and you did not receive anything. Also, now that you know what to watch for, you will know when the next payment will be coming out!
I got paid for a job I did on the 18th, on the 22nd! Yes, Paypal sent my notice on a Sunday. Yay! smiling smiley

I like working with them. They pay fast and the assignments are good. I do want to pout about their testing policies however. I never had to take so many tests for one blasted assignment. I got one answer wrong and couldn't do the assignment. When the scheduler asked why I didn't do the test sooner, I answered that I had already done two tests and had no idea there was a third test to be done before I could complete the assignment. For me it's not the pay that rubs me but the testing.

Just lost trying to find a fire pit in a concrete jungle wishing it was a wooded glen...

WOW! My first shop for them was on January 2, 2014 and I received my pay including the bonus today; in eight days.
I suggest that you click on their name and read their history. Not a lot of happiness there!!,
