NSite- thoughts?

Doing a shop for NSite at a bar. Never worked for them before... Not sure what to think.

I read in the guidelines that if an editor needs to contact me they will deduct $2-$10 from my reimbursement.

Anyone work with them before?

I've done about 10 shops for them. They have some attractive shops in my area. The reports are fairly narrative heavy, and they want them done in a certain way. I've found the editors to be pretty picky, but fair. They're always paid on time according to their schedule.
Eh, they are narrative heavy, but not the worst I've seen. (Not far off, but not the worst.) I've been contacted before but not dinged money ever. They pay as described, overall they are a good company to work for. It's not as bad as it might sound.
I haven't done an Nsite shop recently but the fine dining ones I did a while back had a minimum character count that was hard to reach. A long time ago, they offered bonuses but the shops have been reimbursement only as far as I have seen recently. I liked the restaurant but I would rather do Coyle reports than Nsite reports. They do pay as promised.
Pay was good and on time. It is just hard to say..."My server delivered my coffee in a brown mug in thirty seconds...." so many ways.... There was a good deal of repetition in many sections that required different words each time.

I'm curious. Do they demand and enforce a requirement for different wording?

I haven't done work for this company, but I filled out a report for another one today that asked for comments in each section, and then asked for an overall narrative. Obviously, that overlapped. I didn't do any cut and paste, but I didn't feel any compulsion to make the comments different from the narrative, either. I'm wondering if that would be appropriate for a company like this, or if they make it clear they don't want ANY duplication, even though they're duplicating the questions.
I just signed up for my first shop with them also. Started regretting it as soon as I looked at the guidelines. Does everything seriously need to be faxed in? So modern! It is a fine dining one also and the minimum character count among other requirements have me regretting it more and more. To top it off I don't have anybody worthy of all this work to take with me and it says I should take 2 adults with me at least. Too add to it all, this restaurant is further away than I would like to travel but thought it would be nice for a nice lunch.
I'm also worried about all the repetition as noted above.

The amount of repetition in the report has also got me worried now.

I have a feeling there is going to be a lot of repetitive questions in this report now.
They will not take cut and paste AT ALL!. Super picky about that. So yes rewrite that brown coffee mug in a manner!

I just signed up for a shop with them, and the guidelines say the narratives must be the "same" number of characters as the sample. I tried to get some clarification and was told twice it must be the same, not at least, not a range, the same. Has anyone had to deal with that?

Wow Bayberry, I never saw that part. I definitely didn't do that for my shop.

I did, however, get a message from the editor saying that I did a good job. I also got paid about a month later via PayPal :-)

Does anyone know if it's possible to work your way up with them and do dinner shops for all of the bar shop locations I always see?
