Looking for companies that use Sassie but don't require Paypal for payment

It seems that most the companies I see that use Sassie only make payments via Paypal.

After years of selling on eBay, I have decided Paypal is the anti-Christ and I no longer use them.

Does anyone know of any companies using Sassie that do not require Paypal for payments?

Thanks

Off the top of my head, Bare, ath, Shoppers Inc.

My experience with Paypal has been trouble free, but I only use it to receive payments, and transfer payments to my bank. Ruling out MSPs that use Paypal would all but kill my business.
I think mostly you are going to have to move away from SASSIE companies because many of them do require Paypal and more I suspect will be moving that way in the future. More of the Prophet, individual software and CustomerMetrics companies do direct deposit or pay by check than SASSIE ones.

My experience with Paypal has also been trouble free--as a buyer and seller on eBay and with mystery shopping payments. I have found it prompt, accurate and never cost me a dime (except as an eBay seller per the fee schedule). If that changes I will certainly be annoyed, but I spend a whole lot more time chasing checks that were supposedly mailed to me and never arrived. In fact I have 2 triple digit checks out there right now that were supposedly mailed long ago. I find it fascinating that the checks from my routine shops that pay by check the checks arrive in an orderly sequence. Do somebody a special favor or do a whole lot of work for them one month and the checks get 'lost in the mail' so it ends up taking 4-5 months to get paid.
Thanks for the suggestions.

I understand that for many people Paypal has been hassle free, but my advice would be to just be careful with them.

I used them for 6 years with no problems. But once you have a problem, it's nearly impossible to get resolved. That's not just my experience with them, 100's of 1,000's of users have had horrible experiences with them.
I know that sellers on eBay who used Paypal had problems with Paypal just debiting back sellers as soon as a buyer raised a peep. I was the buyer beneficiary of that when materials were not shipped and the seller did not respond, when the software I purchased as a "new in box genuine" product was shipped as an illegal copy in a paper sleeve and when I purchased 2" diameter flower bulbs and the largest dimension of what was received was 1/2" and the seller tried to say that was 'what he had meant to say in the ad' so therefore I should be happy (and he would not refund unless I returned the bulbs at my expense and even then would only refund his Paypal purchase price less Paypal's deduction and the initial shipping would still be my expense).

I'm sure there are many buyers who make claims because of buyer's remorse or having misunderstood the ad, so I am sure sellers respond to Paypal's knee jerk that the buyer is always right with a whole lot of anger. But in shopping you are simply receiving payments that can be quickly transferred along to the bank. I would suggest that you open a new Paypal account--just a basic that links to a savings account you have not previously used with them. Use the address you use for shopping work. CoRI is the only one I know of that charges shoppers to use Paypal, so go direct deposit with them. With everybody else, if I am due $37.21, that is what arrives in my garden variety Paypal account and that is what shows up in my savings account after I withdraw and transfer it.
I had an issue with a ebay seller stiffing me on a purchase of $130 one year (2004.) At Christmas, and of course it was a present for the kid. mediating through paypal was useless. I did get the money back from the guy, but only after I threatened legal action (and was darn willing to do it.)

That said, I won/t be using Paypal for ebay, but I have no issues using it for MS'ing as **the MSC gets to be the one with the headache** not me. I love it for MS'ing.

My largest problem with PayPal is that their support is outsourced, and most answers are canned. Their support, via email, insisted to me that ANY and ALL payments have a fee associated with them because of my account type. When I explained not from a company that uses the mass pay feature, they didn't know what that was, and again insisted any payment I receive will have a fee attached to it. I gave up and just let it go.

Pathetic.
I agree with Flash. I only use pay pal to be paid for my work. It goes to pay pal on one day, the next it goes to my checking, than that afternoon into my saving account. So simple, easy, a few key strokes and I am done. Don't have to be held captive waiting for the mail man or wondering where the check is.
I have only had an issue with PayPal once, I sold a pretty expensive brand new iTouch on eBay and got a confirmed instant payment through PayPal. So I ship the item only to get an e-mail from PayPal a day later stating that the payment is on hold and I should not ship until I hear from them. Well, of course, the payment turned out to be bogus and I never got my money. I lost over $400.

Although I blame PayPal in part because they did confirm payment at first, and only a day later sent me that warning, I understand that the crook was really the buyer. Otherwise, PayPal is pretty reliable. I've never heard of anyone NOT getting the money that was actually sent to them. Never heard of PayPal misdirecting funds or anything like that. All the times that I hear someone saying they had an issue with PayPal, it is usually because one of the parties exchanging money is trying to cheat.
To answer the original question, the only Sassie company I know that pays by check is Mystery Shoppers.

Thanks for the info.
I'm also looking for those that pay by direct deposit. That's how most the companies I shop for pay.
Sign up with a bunch. Then you can see how they pay.

Haha, I have. But it would save tons of time if I could weed out the Paypal only's so I was wondering if there was a list somewhere of them. I do still sign up for some that are Paypal only. But I would prefer to sign up with the others first.
I use paypal for both buying and selling on ebay. I did not an issue with a seller and paypal opened a dispute and my money was refunded. I am happy to accept paypal from MS companies, as I use paypal all the time.

And that is really great for you. It's great you have had such great experiences with Paypal. Unfortunately a lot of others have discovered the not so great side of Paypal.
