Has anyone not been paid?

Hi,

I have completed 6 jobs with shop angel and so far have not received any payment .I did my first job on 4th of April ,it is approved also for payment ,but not paid yet. These delays in payment is demotivating me to take any jobs ,until I get paid for the previous jobs. Please look into my issue.

Hi,

What steps have you taken to look into your issue? Have you sent them any e-mail? Have you checked their pay schedule to see when you could have expected to be paid?

Hi, Archana, welcome to the forum. We are a forum of individuál mystery shoppers. We are not affiliated with Shop Angels or any other mystery shopping company, so we are not able to look into your issue. I suggest you contact the company.

I have worked for SA since January 2012 and I have completed 39 shops for them. I have always been paid by PayPal but the dates vary widely. Have you setup your PayPal account with the correct e-mail address? {Have you checked your spam folder?} The quickest payment took 19 days and the longest payment took 75 days. There does not seem to be any real consistency; it is not like they recently started taking longer to pay.

I do know that this is an Australian-based MSC so there is a major time zone difference. I have never tried to call them; I always e-mail and I have always received a response. Just remember that they are a different country. For example, I am sure that they will be working on Monday because they do not celebrate Memorial Day but on another day, they will be closed to celebrate one of their national holidays.

This is from their website in their Q&A section...
"Q: How do I get paid?
A: ShopAngels pays all mystery shoppers by PayPal only. We do not pay by any other means, including cheque or direct debit bank transfer. You would therefore need to set up a PayPal account before you start your first assignment.

Angels are paid once a month for all approved shops. Approved assignments are those that have been completed correctly, with relevant information and detail in the survey and within the required timeframe."

I just checked my Excel spreadsheet. My two outstanding shop dates are April 7th (47 days out) and May 5th (19 days out.) I am sure I will receive payment for the April shop soon. I have never had to hunt done a payment for them.

Also, you should check your Payroll History on their web site to make sure that your shop was processed and accepted. Go to "My Settings" and then "Pay History."

I started with them recently did 3 shops from which last one in may, so far they paid with pay pal.

It is very hard to communicate with them since their office in Australia..

I have worked with Shop Angels for about 6 months. I have not had trouble getting paid in the past. However, I completed two shops in April for them that I've not yet been paid for doing. I checked, and I noticed that they don't have a stable date they pay on--I've just been paid around thirty days after the shop was accepted.

I agree with S2L, they don't seem to follow a set schedule.
March 2nd shop paid on 4/21/14
March 6th shop paid on 5/14/14
April 6th shop outstanding....

I just received a PayPal payment for my April 7th shop.

I did my first shop for them 42 days ago. Their site says you will receive payment by Paypal within 30-40 days of your shop. I've just emailed them.

I received this e-mail overnight from Shop Angels. I have not included the first two paragraphs because they had nothing to do with payments.

"We are in the process of upgrading the ShopAngels website and accounting systems, including our international pay system and PayPal.
We are working hard to get up to date with payments after these changes, and greatly appreciate your patience in the meantime.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.
Moving forward, it is our priority to ensure our shoppers are looked after and paid on time.
