I have worked for SA since January 2012 and I have completed 39 shops for them. I have always been paid by PayPal but the dates vary widely. Have you setup your PayPal account with the correct e-mail address? {Have you checked your spam folder?} The quickest payment took 19 days and the longest payment took 75 days. There does not seem to be any real consistency; it is not like they recently started taking longer to pay.
I do know that this is an Australian-based MSC so there is a major time zone difference. I have never tried to call them; I always e-mail and I have always received a response. Just remember that they are a different country. For example, I am sure that they will be working on Monday because they do not celebrate Memorial Day but on another day, they will be closed to celebrate one of their national holidays.

"Q: How do I get paid?
A: ShopAngels pays all mystery shoppers by PayPal only. We do not pay by any other means, including cheque or direct debit bank transfer. You would therefore need to set up a PayPal account before you start your first assignment.
Angels are paid once a month for all approved shops. Approved assignments are those that have been completed correctly, with relevant information and detail in the survey and within the required timeframe."
