I have completed multiple shops for this MSC. The shops, of course, require EITHER a business card OR a brochure. I always get both. For the last 3 shops that I completed, on a route, I somehow misplaced the business cards, but had the brochures with each location written on the front. I submitted my report, and uploaded the brochure, only to have it rejected because there was no business card. Not only that, but they de-activated my account!

When I asked why the shops were rejected, the response I received was that they PREFER a business card, and thus causing them to de-activate me.

I thought "either/or" meant either/or.

That's not good at all. Do you have a relationship with anyone specific that you can go and talk to about this?

That's ridiculous! Do you have a number to call? They have to be responsible for the wording on their own website.
The shops get scheduled through KSS. I emailed the scheduler that I work with and have not received a response.
Time to track down someone at RBG.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
You should always take a picture of the storefront.
Will save many issues even when it's not required

When you try to please everybody, you end up pleasing nobody
Get a small stapler you can keep in your purse or car and staple your business cards or receipts to your shop paperwork as soon as you finish the shop.

The reason they probably deactivated you is that without the business card, you really can't prove you interacted with anyone. There are shoppers who go in, get a brochure, and leave without having the interaction. Not getting a business card once -- okay, it happens. Twice? They have to wonder if you're even asking for them. A third time? Now they're wondering if you're doing the shops at all.

Try calling them and explain that you're very sorry but you had the cards but misplaced them in the car and when you couldn't find them right away you didn't bother looking under the car seats because you knew you had the brochures. Ask if they would give you another chance since you now have a stapler in your car and will immediately staple the card to your paperwork in the future to make sure it doesn't get lost.

If they say no, consider it a lesson learned and sign up for more companies and do something else. There are several companies doing those shops.

Time to build a bigger bridge.

Also, another idea that Irene_LA had was to immediately take a picture of the business card with your phone when you get out of sight of the store (in the car, in a mall restroom, etc.). That way if you accidentally lose the card, you still got the picture for your report.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
Has anyone had problems with one of their employees flaking you when you asked for an extension before the time of the shop and received the extension, completed the shop, but received a flake for the previous date? I don't even have anyone to contact other than the woman who flaked me and find her pretty unreasonable.
this is one of the few companies I really like....that being said I only do the "steak place" and once in a while the "store" shops....Robin seems very easy to work with.
