I tried to run search there and got nothing so I made a post..I wait for training in relatively closed area of my residence..about 40+ miles one way, completed training and again silence...

I really want this company to schedule me for training. How persistent should I be?
This is a great company! I've been shopping for them for almost a year now.
Persistence won't really help you here, Torste. I suggest patience. Until you have attended the two-hour training at one of their nearby client locations, they will not collect your SS# and other info, and you won't be assigned shops. I would say to get on their list and be patient. When they plan a training session in an area anywhere near you, they will notify you.
Their last training recruitment email mentioned $27 fee per location. Is that a change nationwide? I've been at the $25 fee and was wondering if $27 is going to be the new normal. Any thoughts? I'm in the Northeast region.
I am in So. California and the going fee is now $27.00, without food reimbursement. You need to make the decision if its lucrative for you, but having a continual auto deposited pay each month is awesome. What a great company to represent, long tedious report, but worthwhile. You can pick up an orphan shop sometimes for a bonus. Hang in there, and wait for the delicious burritos to come your way.
I believe but am not sure the going fee starts at $27. You can ask through the website.

I'm curious. If you copy and paste the writing portion into word, how many pages is it?
51 questions on the report, about ten Word pages.
OMG talk about diarrhea of the word processor.
I've never copied and pasted mine into Word but I would guess it's maybe a page/page and a half. The narrative is only 2 paragraphs.

The narrative is no big deal. Two paragraphs and they are quite specific about what they want you to cover in it. The first tiem you do one of their reports it will take you 3-4 times as long as it will the 4th time.
There are a few very short narrative answers in addition to the 2 paragraphs, BUT you can use the very same staements in both. Draft in WORD and then cut and paste into the report.

How long? good question. There are two main paragraphs that are required with a lot of questions (Probably 51 in number - I'm not going to look right now... ) some are required to answer - the remaining are only to explain a less than perfect observation (Think a "no" answer). It's more than one or two pages in word probably more like 3-4. I have one to write now and I try to figure it out better for you folks.

Update: The most recent one I did was 2 pages long in my word processor and some of that was repeated (cut and pasted) from one part of the report to another. So, the prior estimate of 1-2 pages was right on.

I get $27. It took about 3 days after training to get set up in their system (they do this off our original sign up). I happily eat four or five times a month now.

Anyone have a phone number for Ardent. I signed up and did the training and a few shops several years ago. Would like to start doing the shops again.

MMy two paragraphs almost always fit on wone page in word and I get high marks and requests for more shops. It takes some practice, but it's well worth the shopper's while to "boil it down" to essentials with reports for both of Ardent's clients.

They are a good campany to work for but the report and questions are extensive and you have to observe for 25-30 minutes, that's in addition to the time it takes you to get your food. They tell you where your goign to shop and what dates and times you can do it. It's a big window so you shoudl be able to find some time to do it. The food is good and if you have the time to go through the training and fill out the reports I think it's worth it.
