I love working for them. They are one of my favorites. The only downside is that they very rarely bonus.
I find that they are very easy to work with. The pay isn't super high (Market Force actually has higher fast food shops) but their food requirements are much less restrictive as you usually you can order most anything on the menu. They do have some grocery store shops in my area that are good but they go fast.

Payment is by check (snail-mail) a month after the shop is completed.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.

They are ok but not one of my favorites. When we had a snowstorm this winter that forced me to reschedule a trip this was the only company that gave me any grief. Additionally their payments are always 10 days late.

Be prepared for multi calls, MULTI.... Over and over again..... One no should be sufficient. I still see shops sitting and sitting. No bonus and not too polite of a scheduler....
I have never had a problem with them. Straight forward guidelines and easy reports. My payments have been timely.
They haven't had anything in my area for a year or so at least now... and even when they did it wasn't much, but I did a few of them and liked them. Oh ~ they *did* have one job last year I did!

Anyway, I was never bothered by even a single phone call, so no experience there.

They paid right on time as laid out.

AND... when there was a dispute by the client, they called me (so I guess there was *one* phone call) and got my side of the story. I explained how what the client was trying to claim couldn't possibly be true, and gave several points that proved my side. (It was an audit, so there were actual numbers and facts I could point to.) The MSC person (not sure if she was a scheduler or what) agreed that, especially with my evidence, I was correct, and she said she would explain it all to the client and let them know they had no case. She said she would make sure I still got paid on time even with the slight delay in processing the shop, and I was. She even said that she believed me anyway, from the start; and wasn't accusing me of anything, but had to get my side of the story. She said she appreciated that I had kept PDF's of all my notes and could easily give details to prove that what I reported was true.

So... because of that especially, I'd have to give them a very positive recommendation.

perhaps I have the wrong information. My notes say they pay on the 30th of the following month. It has been my experience they never mail checks before the 8th or 9th, making them late.

bgriffin, the last statement I have from them states "***NOTE: Checks begin processing approximately the 27th-30th of each month for shops completed the PREVIOUS month and are mailed after processing is complete.***

I think, that similar to other MSCs who pay with check, processing involves getting client approval, cutting the checks, and mail time, and can take a week or so.
Exxxxtreemely easy reports. Shops only average 7 bucks plus 7 buck reimbursement, but GREAT filler shops with 2 minute reporting timeswinking smiley

9 days to process checks is silly. The other companies I work for that process checks on the 30th seem to reach me by the 5th. I usually get their mailed notifications on the 9th or 10th.

I did several fast food shops for them for the past three months. From my experience, you can pretty much self-assign the shops after you "justify" why it should be given to you. Like others said, you will get quite a few calls. When I have exhausted what is convenient for me to self-assign, I don't answer calls from Ohio.
I always get the shops if I want them. They pay slower than most. In May, I'll get checks for shops that I completed in March. They're easy to contact someone, and if you've produced all that they care about is to get the report in by the due date. No threats of docking fees if you're a day past what you obligated yourself to.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

I like Strategic Reflections. THey are easy to work with, with simple reports. At least the ONE job I can get in this area from them. But I'm really happy with that one job.
They are up and down. Up until this year, I did two or three shops a month, mostly for the gypsy chicken chain that has a store in every little burg in GA. However, they have lost that account and now only seem to have that other chicken/burger joint with mgmt reveals for either lunch or dinner. Needless to say, I've only done one shop for them in 2014.

I like them! Most of the shops for them around here are gas stations and fast food. The fast food ones are great for my lunch break while on a route.
I like them. They don't pay a lot but the reports are easy and I gt to eat what I want off the menu. They make great food shops while I am on road trips.

I did get a call when they had a question about why I did not go to the restroom in a food court but other than that I have not had any issues.

I have always been paid on time by them.
I got an email from them today. I went to their site and chose a shop. I thought I chose it for Wednesday. But it showed as Tuesday. I'm not available on Tuesday. I cancelled it and thought I would select it again for Wednesday. But now the shop is not visible. The time between choosing it, cancelling it and looking at the board again was around a minute. I've emailed them. I've never done a shop for them before. I don't like how they would "ban" me from doing a shop because I chose the wrong date. I'm willing to do it. Why would they ban someone when they need the shop done? It seems like poor practice. I really don't think another person chose it because all the other locations are still there.

I'm actually doing this shop tomorrow and I'm liking it already as they close out your account the following month, they don't run you through a credit check or Chex Systems, and they pay you your $1 that you opened the account with back via mail. So pretty much you just go in and open the account, do your report, and that's it, you are done. Gotta like that.

I think, although I could be wrong, that their site is set up so that if you cancel a shop, the shop is removed from your shops and it is not available to you until the next wave of shops is released. Canceling in order to select another date doesn't work. They do reschedule if you call them, so since you've called them, they may be able to schedule you if another shopper hasn't already taken the shop. It doesn't sound like you have been banned. If you can still see all the other locations, you certainly haven't been banned.
And all that effort and time is worth $12? No thanks!

I think they are great! I rarely get phone calls, even here in no-where Georgia. I sure do miss the chicken place. Easiest reports in the business, now if they only would bonus more...
I miss the chicken place too. A lot of times if I couldn't find a decent paying FF shop on a route I would go ahead and take those because I knew the report was easy as pie. And yeah, they don't bonus worth anything and heaven forbid you have a snowstorm and need to delay your trip.

They do not pay the most but I have never had any problems getting paid and the reports are easier than MF. I like the checks for my teller shops at banks....
I've done two easy shops for them, one movie theater and one retail. The movie shop was the easiest I have done out of three MSCs. The other was clothing retail....a very simple, no hassle shop with a decent compensation and reimbursement ($15 + $10). Definitely worth a shot, in my estimation. That said, I have not yet been paid for either assignment, but I did get the "your check's in the mail" email.

The harder I work, the luckier I get.
I've only done a watch kiosk in a local mall. About twice a year I get a notice and the fee is just enough to cover a new watch battery. I know they do some fast foods but I don't get notices on that or else they go quickly.

I've contracted with them over the past year. I just received my check for shops done in April. So it can take 1 1/2 months to 2 1/2 months. That being said, they set a due date in which you do not have to commit to a date certain. Just perform it by the due date. All my shops are self-assign. They have limitations like if you try to assign shops too soon after you performed at a location.

Their fast food shops are the easiest. It's a MS with reveal after the shop. Take two forms, one timing, get your food, fill out both forms, ask for the manager, go over it with them, have them print and sign your copy, give them a copy, then data enter, scan y upload the receipt and done, done and done.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

They are pretty good to work for but pay by check which is a big downfall in my book. But they do pay in a timely manner and i've never had a problem with them.
