New people at GFK stealing from me

I have been doing wing shops for GFK for over a year; shopping for over 10. Ever since they switched to a new editor and new person assigning the Shops a couple of months ago I have had ever single one of my shops with $20-25 bonus rejected for bogus reasons. This last one they scheduled me the wrong shop. I got it fixed. When I did the shop I emailed with them about completing it. The last email I received from the editor was that the problem was resolved. Then I got an email a few hours later saying it wasn't submitted and they canceled or. However, instead of listing it as a flake they erased it from my log completely. So I have no record to refer to. SCAM ARTISTS AND THIEVES. This is my livelihood people!

And this is only one of many reasons why it's *SO* important to maintain your own shop records on a spreadsheet. You should *never* rely on the companies to maintain records for you... *always* keep your own and just use theirs for comparison.

But yeah, contact Donna. She's been *very* good about investigating and resolving issues for shoppers. And good luck!

Just wondering, did that "giant cartoon boxing glove (that) comes out of your screen and punches you in the face" which Hoju requested, get approved yet?

Donna and GfK are both not frauds. Donna is great, she has helped me many of times, both as a scheduler and a shopper.

GfK is a great company to work for. They pay fair and ontime.

To the OP:

In SASSIE (the system they use), you cannot mark a shop as a flake, I *think* theres a possibility they can decline the shop or something so it says in your shop log, but I'm nearly positive they pay SASSIE for the shop then. Yes, all MSPs pay the system for every shop they put through.

As for shops getting declined, if you don't get paid, no one gets paid..so they're not doing it for fun. The editor returning your shop (if they're contract) would not be paid unless the shop is approved by the client.

Donna is terrible and unprofessional. She should spend time in Attica or sing sing. GFK is a horrible company to work for. They find bogus reason to not pay people as indicated by another shopper in this posting.
chrsj, you've been toggled. Enjoy.

I wonder if chrsj has any information that might substantiate his/her claim. Like perhaps the bogus (but yet unmentioned) reason they found to not pay.

Probably the same thing as the OP in a recent Papa John's thread. Just some ridiculous picky thing like not following any of the guidelines.
I'm not so sure that they are declining my shop on the board, yet turning them into the client anyway since they are complete.
I just posted 3 bogus reasons they gave for not paying me. They quoted standards that are in the guidelines that did not exist nor could a provide me with any of those standards.
I usually evaluate 6-8 locations in the Portland Oregon area per month. I also sometimes pick up other locations out of here depending on my travel. I have even done evaluation in other states. Until recently, that is.
6-8 shops per month and you say this is your 'livelihood'? I'm doing 8 shops tomorrow. While it should be a decently productive day, I'm glad it's not all that I've got for the month. Or are you saying that you evaluate 6-8 wing locations per month?

I just read all 8 of your posts. Couldn't find the bogus reasons. Mind pointing them out for me?

Yes, please do point them out again. I couldn't find them, either. Thought I was having a platinum senior moment.

You are going to get all toggled out, you poor thing.

Time for some cool, refreshing thoughts.

You are sitting on the grass, on the bank of a small pond. The sunlight on the water is dappled from the overhanging willow trees. A cool breeze is keeping the bugs away and drying your feverish forehead. You see a flock of Purple Martins swoop across the water. You feel yourself relaxing, hearing the rustle of the leaves, and the chirping of the crickets in the background. You hear a fish break the surface of the pond. As you drift into a light sleep, you smell the freshly baked apple pies of the farmers wife. You sleep, dreaming of life on a tropical beach.

Hope you are less aggravated now.

No, but if you send a PM to the username DonnaForGFK she will get an email notification that you sent her a message. Give her a chance to help you. Good luck.
I do have information but based on the rules of this site I am not allowed to post the specific reasons since it will violate the rules of the website.
@chrsj - you don't have to mention the specific client, and thus not violate any rules - I think the inquiry is about exactly what or how gfk wronged you. It would be a benefit to all if this is the case.
I think they're on the 2'fer plan. 1 out of every 3 jobs seem to get rejectected for some reason.

@chrsj - Chix is 100% correct. The only thing that would go against forum rules is naming the client. Since the name of the client would be pretty much irrelevant to what GFK allegedly did wrong, there would be no conflict for you to describe what happened between GFK and yourself. Tons of people have presented the facts of their case, when they have a dispute with an MSC; without violating the forum requirement of not revealing client names.

It seems more like you're just trying to find a way to dodge the question.

Because of possible litigation is also the reason why I am not able to list reasons.
I was under the impression that it was just me. Thanks for the validation. I was denied a few after I submitted all of the documents and thought perhaps they use it and just don't pay the worker??
