I've never not been paid from this company yet their pay cycle is usually the 21st of each month after the shop has been completed. So for most June shops (also prior to the 6/21 deadline), I would expect a 7/21 payment delivery.
I looked at my shop log, and they have always paid about a month after completion of the shop--generally around the 1st or the 15th of the month. I did one for them on June 3, and haven't been paid for it yet. I guess I'll wait until the 21st and see if they pay then. I have done tons of shops for them and never have had them pay late before.
I have a payment due, from expenses, sent in the beginning of June too. My scheduler was going on vacation and may not have received my invoices before leaving. Since reading this post, I will not follow up on it until after July 21, 2014. I have completed hundreds of shops for CSE and have always been paid on time. In fact, I have a new circuit of shops scheduled this upcoming week.
This whole delay of payment thing is making me nervous. I do shops for them all the time and, according to my shop logs, I have always been paid on the 3rd. I still haven't gotten paid for the shops I have that are due for payment.
Again, the whole thing is making me nervous. I think I may back off for a while and observe.
I would say that CSE is one of the more stable MS companies around. I have been doing work for them since I started shopping a long time ago. At least they are letting us know the payments are late instead of us finding out the hard way. I don't ever remember a late payment from them.

I didn't get any notice or heads up that payment was delayed. I found out here on the job board and all of the postings indicated that the information only came after the phone call looking for payment by the shopper was made.
I think that is what has me the most concerned. I do realize glitches happen. I would have liked to have been notified by the company instead of finding it on a forum board or having to inquire about payment.
Well here it is July 21, and I just checked my shopper log, and it does not show any payment made for the shop I did the beginning of June, or the shop I did the beginning of July. Anyone else get paid by them? I've been doing shops for them for several years, and never have had a problem.
Thanks for the reply. I did a lot of shops for them the first week of June, and I have been very worried. I still haven't received a payment but maybe it will be there soon. I feel better after reading the replies.
I went onto there facebook page to see if that have any information on there. I decided to post and ask about the late payments. I was hoping someone would respond on there, because I haven't gotten an email response. I did get a response this morning and the payments are here. I was really worried with so many companies that don't pay or pay is months late. They apologized for the delay in their response to my post. Which was nice.

They are now telling me that I will not be paid until the next round.
The shop was finalized on the 23rd of June. The contract agreement states that payments are let out the 1st and 15th. Here is a cut and paste:
PROJECT FEES & REIMBURSEMENTS
Once a mystery shop has been entered online in our eView® system and finalized by our editing team, it's time for payment!
CSE disperses client fees to mystery shoppers on the 1st and 15th of each month by PayPal or check. This schedule is typical and quicker than most mystery shopping companies, but not 100% guaranteed to fall on those exact dates (holidays, weekends, etc. may affect the schedule). However, it is guaranteed that shoppers will be paid for their assignment!
Every shop I have ever done has been finalized by the 15th and paid on the 1st. My shop was finalized on the 623 so it should have been a 6/15 payment. They delayed that until the 21st and now they are telling me it's going to be another 2 weeks.
Are you joking??? I can't wait that long for the money that was put out for this shop. If they would have stated the fact they were changing the payment periods I would have not taken the shop that I required that kind of put out. I am so mad right now and am stuck financially.
This sucks!! (and as unprofessional as that little statement is, it's just exactly the way I feel!)
Kathee: I got paid for the shop I did for them on June 3 today. Usually, I would have been paid for that shop on the 15th of June. I haven't taken any shops from them until I got paid for this one. They have always been so good about paying on time. Maybe they have some new people, or some other problem in their office. Did they tell you they were changing their payment periods?
I emailed the scheduler with a cut an paste of the agreement. She is having a check mailed to me for the amount which is not optimal but acceptable to me.
I understand that problems arise but the fact that the company didn't notify me (or anyone) that the payments were delayed or update their agreement to reflect any changes in payment times upset me. To this minute the contractor agreement and payment explanation still states that they pay "faster than other MSC's" on the 1st and 15th.
It would not have been a big deal if it wasn't so much money. I would have planned better had I been warned of the delay.
I have done several shops for them and always have been paid right on schedule. The other thing is, when I got the email back about payment being further delayed, the scheduler could not give me a date that the next pay round was going out. She said she would get back to me when she found out what date it would be.
I don't know, I am just hoping that the check gets mailed tomorrow as promised and I get paid.
