So far, I really like MF. They have at least six clients that I enjoy a great deal, and a few more that are 'ok' or 'better than nothing'. They are liberal with the self-assignments and self-reschedules. I can always find some decent work with them. But then again, I've only been with them three months. When the time comes for me to take the long walk down that shadowed hallway to deactivation, I may sing another tune
.
Yes, the pay is not incredible. But the shops are low-stress and they are plentiful in my area (a very large metro). I've given high and low marks, slow and fast times, and never had anything kicked back by a human. I try to audio-record every shop I do, so I have proof of my statements in my back pocket if it ever did come to that (single-party consent state FTW).
Once I pass a qualification exam, I try to keep my skills fresh by doing the same chain semi-regularly, usually in a different location each time. What this discussion is telling me is to be sure to diversify the shops and don't over-visit my favorites or I might run afoul of the algorithm.
I guess mileage varies... more motivation to sit on my hands and hope my favorites go to a bonus instead of snapping them all up.... nah, maybe I should enjoy it while it (and my naivete) last...
