Ergo, 2 mystery shoppers getting together for lunch to compare notes becomes a "conference" . . .

What's wrong with having a conference for shoppers? It sure beats going to a conference for the MSCs as "tag-alongs."

I have made a lot of fees from the face-to-face interactions that I had at a recent shopper conference, and have leads for more.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
How about we create another thread regarding conferences and keep this one on track?

To recap:

Bare pays quickly, but pay is a bit low.
The schedulers are nice.
Avoid their watch shops when in Switzerland.
Irene likes one of their lunch shops.
They are allegedly heading away from video shopping.

Anything to add regarding Bare International?

No offense, Steve, but...to use the kiddie line:

"let's not, and say we did!"

LOL. It's not our fav topic here. :-)

Dee: I actually agree with you. Most of the conferences are ways to sell somthing to shoppers. The conference is for the msc people not shoppers. We do not benefit in any way. As to us being professionals. I and you feel professional but most msc do not think so. Or they would pay us better, like professionals.
dr.lloyd,
I think that you are referring to the MSPA conference. I am taking about the Independent Mystery Shoppers' Conference, which is by and for shoppers.

Back on track . . . In the past few months here, Bare has picked up new restaurant shops. A steakhouse that's national, and a regional chain of 'upscale biker bars'. Reimbursement is adequate and reports aren't too bad.
Upscale biker bar. Sounds like an oxymoron. Tee hee.

How true. They can cost up to $50 grand. My son says only old bald guys ride bikes. Probably because they're the only ones who can afford them.

Better get back on topic before Steve reminds us smiling smiley
