Video Dental Mystery Shops

Hello,

I am still pretty new to the video part of mystery shopping (I've been a regular mystery shopper for around 10 yrs., give or take). Has anyone ever done a dental mystery shop? If so, how'd it go or I guess a better way to put it: Was it worth the pay, what was "really" involved, and were all your normal expenses covered? I'm asking as I'm considering taking one. But I want to make sure that it's right for me (per say).

I don't take the cleaning shops because sedation dentistry and video shopping are not a really good mix. Every other medical/dental shop has been totally worthwhile. All required services are covered with you only paying if you would choose something additional. The reports are reasonable.

The one I did only involved a teeth cleaning. It was straightforward. I presented a letter to the office and did not have to pay. The pay for the shop was good. I'd do it again.
Exactly as jpgillham said. And, no sedation.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I always wonder who the end client is for this shop. What are they trying to see? Also, would the video be covered by the paper they place on your chest?
The end client appears to be the owner of the dental practice who is looking for how th staff treats the patients. Yes the paper bib covers the camera for part of the visit, but the audio is able to pick up the interactions. Remember, even if there was not recording, it would be well nigh impossible for a shopper to report other than the verbal interaction while lying down during a dental procedure, lol.
