Nope, nope, and never.
Implied in your post is that you have.
If you'd like to offer details, perhaps some shoppers who are experienced with this MSC could offer suggestions.
Your post is a bit vague.

What changes are you referring to?

The $2 charge is if you've done something wrong and they need to get more information. I have yet to experience a $2 deduction and my experience with this company is that this is not something they will abuse.

Which schedulers are you referring to?

Until we have more info, it's hard to intelligently comment on your post.
I have done hundreds of shops for ITIS and have never run into that, or any, problem - they have always been great to me. It goes both ways though: I am quick to email them when something out of the ordinary comes up.

I learned early - when it comes to mystery shopping, don't think, don't assume, don't look for loop-holes. Read the instructions, read the guidelines, read the report and do exactally as you are asked. Turns out it's easier that way.
Name names please.

I have never had deductions.. I have had one negative experience with Angela but it looks like she's gone now. Her replacement is much better to deal with. Other than that, they are one of my favorite companies to contract services to.

If they deducted anything and what another shopper says is true, you are most likely making an error. Best way to find out about the deduction is to call a TM.. You don't even have to leave your shopper number if you are worried about being found out. They are pretty prompt when responding to messages/emails.

I too love this company. They are very helpful and understanding. I have never had a problem with them and I hope to continue with them for many more years.
I think the OP is referring to the Global Compliance side of the company. They do PDMA and FCRA audits. They have become less friendly lately and $2 penalty happy.
Really? I must have missed it, what exactly did they add?

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
I just looked and didn't see anything about any deductions on their page.

Time to build a bigger bridge.

From what I've read JPG and JPEG are identical, so no worries.

They are very explicit that pictures have to be JPG not JPEG. Their system only can handle JPG.
Try Googling the difference between jpeg and jpg. Here's a sample of what you'll see: [www.answers.com]

I have never been deducted $2.00 for anything from Intouch, so I'm wondering if you have the right company, porterwj.

I wonder if they are concerned that the file name is .jpg not .jpeg.

I just tried logging into my Global Compliance account, and after three failures I'm locked out for 30 minutes. And I know I entered the right password the third time. Sigh.

these are medical audits. I've never been able to do one anyway.

Stilllearning,
I have been working for them for over 12 years through the name changes from Pinkerton to Global Compliance to NavexGlobal and now IntouchInsite. I have the correct company.
Okay, I finally got in. This is what it says:

When attaching a picture to a visit page, you must use the .jpg extension. Do Not Use .jpeg. Our system does not recognize this extension, and thus clients can only see pics with .jpg. Please use this extension starting immediately. A $2.00 penalty fee will be applied to those pictures uploaded with erroneous extensions.

They are talking about the filename extension, as I thought. Some programs save the file name as picname.jpeg. You can rename that picname.jpg. It will still be a jpg picture either way, but with jpg instead of jpeg as an extension, the client can see it.

It's probably kind of like the word files being named .doc or .docx. The older versions of Word can't open docx files. You have to save it with a .doc extension.

Anyway, it's an easy fix and has nothing to do with the photo itself, just the file name.

Time to build a bigger bridge.

She has the right company. The company that deducts $2 for errors was bought by ITIS. A few years ago, GCS bought Service Intelligence, sold them, and now both companies are owned by ITIS, which has a few other divisions as well. I've worked for GCS since before it was even Pinkerton. Fifteen years ago it was a Wells-Fargo company.

The OP is using ITIS and GCS as one and the same, but they are quite different and have different procedures and employees. It would have been clearer if the post had not referred to ITIS, just GCS.

I worked for the company for 4 years and move to Ontario from NB because of no work in the province. I was let go from Intouch-insight because they had asked me for my passport and varies of personal ID and I was not sending it through via email.
There has been lots of changes in the last few months with the company and staff that worked for Intouch that we dealt with had left for other jobs, and the other staff members they hired had become not so friendly.
So to say I do not work there and for a company to asked for my passport and personal ID I do not trust and that is my opinion.
