Anyone else get this from Satisfaction Services???

All,

Thank you for your time in working with Satisfaction Services of Houston and/or Satisfaction Services of Metro DC. Through no fault of our own, we have become the victims of a bank fraud, and we will need to take action to ensure the protection of our accounts. All the checks that we have processed and sent since May 2014 will be valid, but only for the 90 days printed on the check. If you have received a check in the last 6-months from the Houston or Metro DC offices, you will be able to cash those checks, but you will need to do so in the next 90 days. Any checks not cashed by October 25th 2014, will not be replaced, and will become invalid (as stated on the checks themselves). If you do not cash these checks, before we close the account, no replacement checks will be produced. Thank you for your understanding, and please let me know if you have any questions.

Again, the deadline for cashing your checks before we close the account will be October 25th, 2014.

Thank you for your time!

I didn't get it and I do shop for Satisfaction Services. However, I always make sure to deposit my checks within a day or so of receiving them anyway just so I don't lose them.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
I work for SS but not in those two areas. It does seem weird to me. Usually when there is bank fraud, the account is cancelled immediately. Why on Earth would anyone keep an account open for more than two months longer after a fraud situation?

If you actually have a check, I would wait until Monday and call them directly. Use the phone number from their web site, not the one listed in the e-mail.

Interesting. The email contains their correct web site, phone number, and the name of their managing partner.

The harder I work, the luckier I get.
I received it on Friday. I already cashed their check, so I deleted the email.

Thanks for the heads up! I deposited one from SS of Houston on 9/2, and it has not bounced.
