Shopper's View and Shopper's Viewpoint are different companies.

Shopper's Viewpoint does not really provide real, ongoing mystery shop reports to clients like we are used to, where the client signs a contract and the locations are shopped on an ongoing basis, and the rules and guidelines are the same every time, with maybe minor changes every now and again. They are mostly used by small independent businesses who want a "flash look" at their company. They can sign for as little as one shop, one location, one time.

Thank you much for the quick and informative reply.....so how is Shoppers' View to work for please????
I have worked for Shoppers view. Their reports are reasonable and they pay quickly.
I do a lot of work for Shoppers View. They pay on time every month and the scheduler that I do most of my work for is always available and extremely fair. They are one of my Top 5 companies.
I also like working with Shopper's View. The scheduler I've worked with is approachable and helpful and they pay on time.

I have done a bit of work for Shopper's View and they are alright. They pay is often low for the work involved so I have taken a step back from them. Definitely not my first choice, but I still enjoy doing some shops for them.
I have decided to stop working with them. It is awkward enough to pretend that you are dealing with a death in your family, but to have the shop excluded without pay because the guy called my grandfather my dad and I didn't correct him? So I am supposed to interrupt his pitch? Ok, because that wouldn't come off as odd at all.....
All I know is that I get an e-mail everyday for funeral shops and it seems no one ever takes them!! I think $5 is too small of a fee to pretend like my Mom died

All of their phone shops tend to be picked up pretty quickly around here. I've only ever seen phone shops from them actually. I've taken a few of the $2 phone calls. They don't pay much, but if you have some spare time, it doesn't hurt to make a couple bucks. The payment date is coming up, so I haven't got any money from them just yet, but I would say my experience with them has been pretty positive. The only thing I might say is that it seems like it takes them forever to schedule their shops sometimes. I applied for five phone shops. The due date came and went, and the shops weren't assigned. I left my applications open, and then the weekend came and went. Finally, they were assigned, and I only got two out of five. They go quickly here! It seems like you have to pounce on those phone shops as soon as you see them.

There are tons of BC phone shops on the board if you can do those. Please take them so the e-mails stop (lol)

They stay on the job board due to rotation. Can't call the location again for 180 days. The reports are super easy. If you get the pitch on the first call, the $5 fee is worth it. Just. It takes me a bit of time to set up my scenario before the call.

I know how I want to plan my funeral after making several of these calls.
I'm not doing any $5 phone shops for anyone, much less having to pretend there's a death in my family for $5. I delete those emails immediately.

I've done two shops for Shopper's View at check cashing places. So far, so good. The pay was decent and the report was not too cumbersome.

Hey Diz...anything ever go right with you.

You claim you're getting ripped off but I don't see you explaining exactly why...
I did one shop for them a few years ago. It was a phone call to an apparently upscale senior community. The snooty woman on the phone would not provide the requested info over the phone. It was very detailed..room sizes available, amenities included, electric, phone, laundry, etc. The company wanted me to call back and press. I refused. The amount of detail required was horrendous and it was like pulling teeth to try and get the info. She wanted me to schedule a visit to get more info., but I was to get it over the phone. I also had to mail them info the place sent to me, which also did not include all the requested stuff. Ugh..so not worth my time.

I was paid and the woman from Shopper's View was very understanding, but I delete their emails based on that experience alone. One bad experience with a company and I am extremely hesitant to continue with them. Even if the funeral phone calls are easy, I won't go there. Too many upclose experiences and bad karma for me.
