Did Insula go out of business? how do I go about getting paid?

I did several price audits in August for Insula, they have always been one of the fastest paying companies. When I went to check up and find out why I haven't received my payment. I find their site has been shutdown. I found one thing online that they were bought by RSG, does anyone know if this is correct, or how to figure this out and get paid, has anyone else run into this?

I saw on RSG's website that they have merged with Insula. Maybe that's why the site is down now.
Do you know much about RSG? I have been getting emails from them,I guess they are using my Insula info, and I saw that that charge you for better shops. I have never paid to be assigned shops before, that doesn't seem kosher to me. I also hope I can get paid for my August work, it is a good amount of money.
I love RSG. They are called MysteryResearchers now, and yes, they have acquired Insula.

They pay roughly every two weeks. They are the ones doing the menu board audits now.

RSG/Mystery Researchers is one of my faves. Where on earth did you read that they charge you for "better paying shops"? I have never found this to be the case and would be very surprised if this were the true.

I work for Mystery Researchers and they've never asked me for a cent.

They are a great company to work for. smiling smiley
Thanks for the info, I seem to be getting new emails from companies with similar names, I guess the preferred shopper payment was with another company. I hope I didn't offend anyone. I am just worried about getting paid. Maybe they will respond to my emails on Monday.
You may be thinking od Satisfaction Services. I've never paid to play and get calls from them all the time with shops anyway.

I was paid 9/3 by MysteryResearchers for Insula shops.

BBird ~ Were you paid by PayPal? I just checked my Excel spreadsheet and I am owed $263.00 for Insula shops performed from 8/3 to 8/9? I perform shops for Mystery Researchers on a regular basis and they pay by PayPal also so I don't think there should be a payment issue for me.

Yes, I checked my Paypal. I performed 15 shops from August 2 - 15, and have not received any payment.
From what everyone on this site says RSG seems to be a good company so hopefully they will return my email on mon and help figure this out
When I went to log in at RSG this morning, there was an announcement on their shopper login page. It’s all about the change in payment schedules for both companies.

Today is only the 14th... you should get paid tomorrow. I'm waiting for mine as well.

Thanks goldilox for posting that link. I did not think to check the Mystery Researchers web site. I already knew that the Insula site was down/closed.

Here is just an excerpt from their web site...

"Our new policy, which will take place at the end of September, will be to pay for all shops submitted in a calendar month on the 15th of the following calendar month. This means all of the shops Finalized in September 1st-30st will be paid on the 15th of October. All shops Finalized between October 1st-31st will be paid on November 15th, and so on.

What to Expect. The next scheduled payment for legacy MR shoppers will take place as usual – with payments being issued next week for shops conducted over the past couple of weeks. Legacy Insula shoppers will also be paid next week as per their usual schedule – for all August shops conducted, they will receive payment on September 15th. Thereafter, the new policy will take effect."

I guess I am a legacy MR and Insula shopper so we will see what happens tomorrow. I could use the money after my $400.00 vet bill on Saturday. sad smiley

Technically it will be Mystery Researchers since that is what RSG is now called.

S2L, yes, it came in my PayPal along with my MR surcharge shops.

Did anyone get their pay from Insula/Mystery Researchers yesterday? I did not. sad smiley I tried contacting the address I was given for questions about pay and it bounced back and said the address was invalid. Does anyone know who to contact?
Thanks a bunch!
I got paid, but it did not include my reimbursements. Go to [www.mysteryresearchers.com] and call the number for the Georgia office would be my suggestion.

RSG is a great company. I have worked for them since they began a few years ago. In their "early days" they paid within a day or two, but as they grew, it got to be twice a month. BTW, the Insula site still works for me. there are not any shops there, but the URL is alive.

Thanks everyone! I used the email mentioned above and they were able to process my payment today. You guys rock! smiling smiley
