I've complained before and I know at least one other forum member has. This is the situation.
If you accept a sandwich shop, the sandwich maker is suppose to ask you if you want double meat, double cheese and bacon. They are also supposed to asked you if you want to make it a combo. Depending on which set of guidelines you read, you are supposed to accept the combo and either one of the upgrades or the double meat.
If you accept the double meat and the combo, it puts your purchase in the $10 range. The reimbursement is $7.
I always accept the double cheese at .25, which on a roast beef with a small combo, still puts the total at $9. I think with turkey, it is around $8.25.
Anyway, I did one of these yesterday. I double-checked that the main guidelines still read something to the effect of "accept one of the upgrades" and I accepted the .25 double cheese upgrade. My shop has been graded a "1' and has been tossed. I've already appealed to a supervisor because their instructions contradict one another AND because I already got a ruling on this a while back. I have had several shops accepted with the double cheese option rather than the double meat option.
I'm curious as to if the rest of you always get double meat or choose the lower-cost alternative to keep the meal closer to reimbursement.
