Does Ritter make it a habit of not reimbursing for shops?

So I just checked my invoice from Ritter. Most of my shops have not been reimbursed. Of course these shops are the gas station shops that tell you NOT to include the receipt with your pictures. Sure it may only be 1.00 per shop (and I can tell you I always had to spend over a dollar) but I also had to pay for the toll from New Jersey to Pennsylvania ($5.00). All those bills add up. Has anyone else had this experience with them? I thought they were a decent company but I am now pulling my apps and deactivating. If they are so cheap they can't reimburse for a shop I don't want to deal with them. BTW, I was only paid 10.00 a shop.

I have shopped with Ritter for a long time and never have had a problem with them paying what is stated in the shop.
I haven't had this happen either. I would definitely be contacting someone at the company to find out what is going on. I wouldn't deactivate over this though. If you feel that way just don't accept any more shops from them for a while.
I do several gas station shops per week for Ritter and in the beginning of the report is an area to upload your receipt. It is one of the first three questions in the shops I perform. If the station doesn't have a convenience store they will reimburse for up to $3 for oil, windshield fluid, etc.

For a certain gas shop they state DO NOT attach receipt. In addition, I had to pay for oil once because there is a certain gas station that does NOT have a convenience store. They didn't reimburse me for it.
Ritter does more than one type of gas shops. One reimburses, another does not. You have to take that into consideration before accepting the shop. I don't do either one until the price goes up to warrant the extra expense.
I had a problem with Ritter not reimbursing me. I contacted them, and got a terse email stating that my report was rejected. I found it crappy that I had to contact them, they should have contacted me to let me know the report was rejected.
I just did a round of stations for them and it states do not attach receipt, you should buy
something cheap($1.00) but the instructions state that they will not reimburse you.
I went ahead and did them because they paid $15 each, also I was in the area. I do
not like the shop reports, the way they have the questions and photos set up seems
very confusing to me. I have completed a couple of thousand shops for Maritz and
several other MSC and Ritter's reports are by far the most confusing and it seems
to take them forever to edit a shop. These are the first shops I have competed for
them since 2012, now I know why.
I will email them and give them the benefit of the doubt.

I will report back my results of contacting them.

This is taken directly from the Purchase requirements of the shopper guide 2014:

PURCHASE REQUIREMENT
You MUST make a convenience store purchase during your mystery shop.
A receipt is not needed for your purchase. If you are given a receipt, just
hang onto it, but it should NEVER be uploaded to the shop form.
There is no reimbursement on this item so you are encouraged to
purchase something inexpensive. If they do not have any convenience
store items you MUST purchase either gas, washer fluid, or oil.
Thanks Txguitar, I should have read more carefully. I do two different gas companies and obviously I had them confused. I appreciate the help from all of you.
They still haven't reimbursed me for motor oil-up to three dollars of course. I will try emailing them again.
My bank was slow to update the online payment statement. Ritter did pay true to their word on 10/31 and is 100% accurate in the shopper agreement regarding payment.

I just took a nicely bonused $30 storage unit shop for them and will continue to work for them. smiling smiley
